First time I had food from here I had the chicken tortilla soup. Delicious! Would have liked some veggies in it but 4 out of 5. My son had a wet burrito. Loved it. 2nd order I time we ordered I had carnitas wet burrito. 0 out of 5. A drizzle of green sauce. A drizzle of sour cream. Worst was carnitas. It was soo dry! It was over cooked! It had been tossed in a frying pan to reheat. Just bad!

Looking for a bite to eat on a Friday night before heading to a show downtown, my dad and I came to East patio Mexicano. I have driven by the spot numerous times and always wondered whether it was good or not. We arrived fairly early on a Friday night and by the time we left the entire restaurant was completely full. The service was extremely fast and friendly. The complementary chips and salsa to start were very tasty, and we placed an order of guacamole to accompany it. The guacamole was fresh and quite delicious. For my entrée, I decided to try the cheese and jalapeño tamales while my dad ordered one of the shrimp dishes. The cheese and jalapeño tamales were delicious and had the perfect level of spice from the jalapeños. My dad thoroughly enjoyed his shrimp dish as the shrimp were juicy and succulent. The sauce they were served in was quite flavorful. Given its location, the price, and the portions, this is definitely worth a stop if you find yourself in East Sacramento.

My favorite restaurant in East Sacramento. Come here all the time, food and service outstanding!

Really good food, especially tamales. Tried both the pork and the cheese/jalapeno. Moist and very flavorful. The salsa was also tasty and medium hot. The server was pleasant and attentive. We will defintely go there again and maybe next time enjoy the outside patio.

In town for the weekend, and decided to try this place for dinner. Glad I did. People were so nice here from the second I walked in. I sat at the bar and the young bartender that served me was really nice. When you come in, warm tortilla chips and salsa come immediately, and are quite good. I got the quesoburria tacos (2) with the consommé. Wow, so good. They also have a few non-mexican beers on tap if you want something besides a light ale. Great place.

i stumbled at this restaurant because Tres Hermanas was closed. i remember this was the former location of 3 Sisters years ago, and I thought to give this joint a try: bad decision. long story short, the food is sub par. i ordered the chili verde, and the meat was tough as leather. it also had a strange odor. the chips were not good adding insult to injury. the salsa was a watery mess. very overpriced as well. i should have known the outcome of my meal considering the place was empty. that said, the server was very attentive and nice. i do not recommend this restaurant.

I found this place on yelp while I was filling in at our Sacramento office. The space is really nice, very homie. The staff was very friendly. I ordered the carne asada plate & my bff ordered the camarones a la diabla. The food was very tasty, all the flavors were there. I'm very picky with my food, but I had no complains about this restaurant. We literally ate EVERYTHING I will definitely be seeing you guys soon

They have the same recipe for the green enchilada sauce as the previous restaurant!! I was so excited to learn this! If I had known, I would have been here much sooner! In case it isn’t clear, I love this sauce. I highly recommend the green enchiladas. Also, good chips and salsa.

If you have been in the past, go again!I am pretty sure they changed things and got a lot better. I live nearby and when I went a year ago (after moving) I honestly wasn't impressed. Maybe it was an off day. But recently went and the food was better. Better ingredients, better presentation, better taste. I think an updated menu but I might be wrong. The service has always been good, the patio gets hot in the summer.

Sorry, but the three of us agree that the food is not very good. Additionally, our bloody marys included wilted celery and mushy green olives. The crew was A-. The food and drink was C-.
