Today was Eid and the place was very busy during lunch. The food and service were a lot different than When I was there in 2015. The Soltani went from $22 to $38. Dish with two tomatoes went to one. Laban wet from big and fat wet to short and skinny. Sabzi and cheese and onion service before food was eliminated. I heard from friends about their disappointment. I think they are loosing my business too.

A piece of surgical glove in kibideh. Just disgusting. The way they tackled the situation was not acceptable. They got mad at me when I showed them the dirty food.

I think I've eaten at every Persian place in Sacramento by now, as well as a few of the Iraqi and Afghani places, and for sure there is a lot of great kabob and rice to be had at many of these places. I would rate Famous Kabob recently as one of the best. The Koubideh (ground beef) Kabob they serve is nicely cooked, tender, juicy, and the rice is always very good. I think I've been to this restaurant 6 or 7 times by now, and I'd say the quality has improved in the past couple of years. It's definitely a go-to when I need to place group orders for pickup.

Very nice celebration party atmosphere that's family friendly. The staff are so kind and hospitable. Food is SOLID! This is most definitely a go to for good Persian food. The tea is authentic Persian tea, the bread is tender with a nice chew to it , the rice is fluffy and addictive and all of the grilled vegetables are delicious and bursting with flavor. Who can resist grilled, tender meat of any kind. A relaxing and delicious experience.

Don't let the 3.5 stars scare you away. Not sure why this raging because this is the best koobideh in Northern California. I have tried many Persian restaurants in Bay Area and Sacramento looking for the kind of koobideh you find in Los Angeles restaurants. Finally found it! Their koobideh is flavorful and soft. Melts in your mouth. The service is also amazing. The waitresses were super helpful and friendly. Can't wait to come back.

Mina helped me coordinate a surprise birthday dinner, and she was easy to work with and made helpful recommendations for the buffet dinner. The staff and service was great, and the private dining room was perfect for our event. Our guests were impressed with the ambiance of the room and the quality of the food. We highly recommend!

We have visited here a number of times. Set in a non-descript little strip mall location off Fulton, it's a local gem. Diners are greeting by a team of friendly staff. Menus present a number of Persian, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean inspired specialties. We usually have the kabobs with any of a number of protein combinations. Try the flatbreads and mint tea. Light salads and greens are available too. Finish off with a light bakalava.

They are so rude, and they put 30 dollars tip for there selfs they were really rude and would scream at you when you ordered, and they would also charge you for the table and there food is so bad. I asked for the kabob to be juicy and it was dry and I told them that it's dry they said that is as much as juicy as they can make it.

I've been eating Persian food from Famous Kabob since I was 13 years old. Over 32 years and I love my Joojeh Barg Basmati with Safron. Homemade Nan aka bread. This is Pele's Favorite Extra Sumac. The portions are quite generous my food is always fresh and hot. Chicken perfectly marinated seasoned and cooked tenderly. Not sure how people complain about prices. You can spend $20 on a nasty fast food meal or spend $25 and get delicious Persian Food that is enough for 2-3 meals. If I could I would eat Persian Food from Famous Kabob every day!!!
