Great food! Nice staff and amazing sports atmosphere. Great place to get drinks, have a bite to eat, & watch a game.

overall, meal was good. the grilled chicken in their salad was very dry, they may need to watch the grilled chicken more closely when cooking it--time it, temp it, as to ensure no overcooking. Service was good, the person was attentive and kind.

My first time at public house and I don't think I would come here for anything but drinks. My friends and I went during happy hour (Monday -Friday from 3pm to 6pm) which has great prices. We ordered a pizza it had a good flavor but the crust was so hard it hurt just to bite into it. The pizza was a good size more like medium size, payed no more than $8. Also, ordered the public house wings it comes with a choice of three different dipping sauces for 10 pieces of wings. The wings cost $6.25. I liked how crispy they were but had no type of seasoning. I ordered a cocktail which was $3 off. The service is good. Our server was very attentive. We were seated right away for it being a Friday. I was not a fan of their nachos they put ranch on them. The nachos cost $7.50. The nachos had pulled pork and the meat was good. I thought the tater tots had a good flavor too them as well and a good size portion. The tater tots were $5.75. If you're looking for a place to watch a sport game this is a great place they have multiple tvs.

We went to public house last weekend during my daughters dance competition down the street. Had a good assortment of sandwiches, main courses and pizzas. We got one of the pizzas that had a very strong truffle oil taste, I loved it. A friend got a mixed greens salad and added shrimp and it was delicious. And my friend's daughter got a chicken sandwich with everything removed except the bun lol. She loved it as well. Service was fast and the location was perfect for us.

Good drinks. Had the steak sandwich very tough piece of meat. They asked how I wanted it cooked I said medium. I would say don't ask if you're just gonna bring it well done anyway. Busy spot good service.

I've popped in here several times before catching a show at Crest or play at SAFE credit union. There's a lot of parking options nearby, including street parking. I have walked in several times, without much of a wait, but reservations are available on resy.com. They have a rectangle bar in the middle of the restaurant with seating surrounding. There are TVs on the bar for easy game viewing. They also have several booth tables along the walls with a select tables on the far side. They also have a decent size outdoor space that you can utilize during the hot summer nights. We always start with the large soft pretzel, because how can you ever pass that up on the menu? It truly is massive (big or bigger than a head) and can feed 3-4 people as an appetizer. It's nice and soft and comes with two dips. They have a lot of beer on tap and indicate the local beers on their menu so you can try something from nearby. They have preselected beer flight options to take out the guess work. They also have several cocktails (and mocktails), and a variety of wine. The spicy chicken sandwich was delicious! Perfect amount of kick without making the entire sandwich overwhelming. The slaw helped offset the spice, and provided a fun crunch. Every time the waiters are very attentive and great. They come and check on you for refills or more food, but I've never felt rushed or bothered by them.

Posting menu because some items have changed!! I have to say: the wings were excellent. They were big and juicy, honestly it was the star of the meal so I had to talk about the wings first. Service was okay, the servicer wasn't very happy to be working. Very attentive on giving us drinks and water. Food also didn't take long. Ambiance was good, gave sports bar type of vibe with a lot of people around the bar area and champagne bottles poppin'. For the rest of the meal... it gave glorified BJs restaurants...We ordered the nachos, nothing special but the pulled pork was tasty not dry. Everyone else order burgers and pizza, tasty! The orders came with SO many fries. However, we got fish n chips which was 70% fries -- they don't miss with the fries. The fish though were thick with batter from the fry and needed salt. If you like thick batters, this is for you! Salt is on the table so no worries.

Sat at the bar, bartender was great-efficient and friendly. The food was delicious. We had fish, fish and chips batter was light & crispy. & the Nashville chicken sandwich, really good but spicy. (as it should be) but a little too much for me. Shoestring fries were crispy and hot just the way I like them. And then it was dessert Deep-fried carrot cake with ice cream in the middle, topped with candy pecans - are you kidding me? Definitely will be back !

TDLR: Food & drink as excellent the kitchen really knows what they're doing! The wings and fries are some of the best I've had in Sacramento. The ambiance is nice and the place is well kept up. Comfortable spot for drinks with friends. 4/5 stars due to the service severely decreasing at shift change. The first bartender was very friendly and accommodating with great recommendations. The second bartender who was servicing us completely ignored us and seems generally annoyed to with us being there. Full Review: The drinks and food here are excellent. Stopped by with my out of town friend for a catch up session. We both really enjoyed the fries and lemon pepper wings. The fries are well seasoned and crispy, some of the best I've had in Sacramento. The wings were juicy, pipping hot, and perfectly fried. The ambiance inside is really nice with a midtown feel. I love the way the place is set up and the bar has hooks for your bag, which is always appreciated. The service here started out really great, we were greeted and directed to the bar for self seating rather quickly. The first bartender attending us was very friendly and made easy conversation. He offered great recommendations and offered alternatives when we couldn't decide between lemon pepper and buffalo wings. He let us know we could get the buffalo on the side for dipping instead. At some point he must have clocked out because the next bartender was much less responsive and over all seemed bothered that we were there. Our wings came out wrong initially with all buffalo, so we politely let the runner know who then reported to the new bartender. After this we were pretty much ignored having to flag down the bartender for any request. We wanted to order more food and drinks but honestly couldn't get her attention for longer than a few seconds, if that. When checking out we had let the previous bartender know we would be splitting the check when he took my card to open a tab. This seemed not to have been communicated at his leaving because when we asked to close the tab the girl walked away so fast my friend couldn't even open her purse before she charged my card for the full visit. At this point, we were fed up with the treatment and flagged down the bar back to explain we wanted to split the check. He let her know, luckily she was able to reverse the charge and split the check.

Came here during happy hour with a friend. The pizza was so deliciously affordable for half it's price. I couldn't finish it, so I took it home. Our server was kind enough to recommend us a good beer pairing. Even though it was busy, the server still checked up on us.

The restaurant is very nice. Up to date. The issue that I have is with the food. The pork nachos were unseasoned, no salt, had a good amount of the fake cheese you would find at a child’s baseball game, plus the pork was a major let down.Moving on to the steak sandwich, the steak had an odd flavor to it. Well cooked but yet the taste of it was not pleasant. With all of these food issues I cannot recommend this place. Very disappointing

Went last night around 9pm the food was meh it could have been better. We’ve been to this location before and it was way better, our server didn’t really interact with us we only found out her name by looking at the check. She checked on us three times never asked about our food, I ordered a lemonade and it was super sour so I asked for a little sweetener she took it to the bar and touched my straw with her hands to mix it. She sat on her phone in the back for a good 30 minutes. Like understand work maybe boring but damn girl.
