I came I saw & I won't return. Service is mediocre food subpar I had the short ribs the presentation looked liked like pot roast taste like it too. The mashed potatoes were instant. The sangria was okay would have had another glass but server never noticed I was empty. Service initially was fast but once seated & ordered there was no service until check time. It was slow. Folks on the other side of the restaurant saw our server more than me...maybe because I questioned my meal. But if you've never been skip it you can thank me later.
Service was friendly and welcoming. Drinks were good also. Give them a try.

In Sactown for food at the Freeport with my pal Ohbasious Clearwater, the crusty old Scallywagger that has a 90' Beneteau Oceanis sailing yacht moored down in Battleship Row in SF. All he can talk about is hitting up the Freeport Bar & Grill for some St Pat's corned beef, says it's the best he's ever had. I told him as soon as we're done looking at the bow thruster blades we go there Lickity split. The Freeport Bar & Grill is a 5 star joint. ☆☆☆☆☆

Today we finished playing golf at Bartley - Cavanaugh Golf Course and wanted to grab dinner someplace in the area. We decided to try the Freeport Bar & Grill.So glad we stopped here. When entering you walk into the bar area initially with several tables in that area. We were seated in the back where this opens into the restaurant area. Behind that is a patio area with gas heaters.Nice area. The staff was very friendly and very attentive to us and all the other patrons. Pretty nice menu selection with plenty of choices. Our meals came out quickly and included bread and a choice of salad or soup. Our dinners were nicely presented and the portions were good size and had good flavor.I ordered the Blackened Salmon served with Mash Potatoes and vegetables. This wasn’t the typical Blackened Salmon but the Salmon was cooked perfectly and had a cajon or blackened type of sauce over it. Just the right amount. My wife and daughter had the Braised Short Rib over Mashed Potatoes and Vegetables. They both liked the dish.I saw quite a few people ordering their Fish & Chips and it looked really good from what I saw. Nice sized serving of fish and it also looked to be cooked perfectly. If you are in the area, you should stop by and visit for a good meal.

This place serves good comfort food. The menu is American, which means juicy burgers, salads full of veggies, nuts and meat, and tasty sandwiches. They have daily specials and a full bar. I recommend this place for anyone in the area.Dietary restrictions: Their gluten-free options are limited. But, with a careful selection, you can find items for everyone to eat.

For a Bar & Grill, Freeport is great! Food is great, service is good, drinks are proper, food comes out in a timely manner. My wife and I have been at least 10X. Every time has been good.

We ate there yesterday, the place is clean and nicely decorated, and the food was great. Unfortunately, our server Helen was cold and aloof, to say the least. I would have been happy to chalk this up and let it go over someone just having a bad day, but while she would roll her eyes and be curt with us, she would be overly kind and outgoing to the regulars that would come in. I'm really on the fence about going back here.

Stumbled upon this place after visiting the Old Sugar Mill wineries. The parking lot was pretty full so we assumed this place had to be good! Hostess got us seated right away in the back outdoor area but it was covered with a tent. Lots of balloons for St Patrick's day. Very festive. All the staff are very friendly and polite. Our server was Christina I believe. She was fantastic. Everyone at our table ordered a salad (entree included a soup or salad) and they all said the salad was fresh and delicious. Your choice of dressing. I got the minestrone soup and it was ok but I think I should've ordered the salad. My entree was the linguine portofino and it was so good! Absolutely tasty and delicious and filling. I even had to take a to go box. I was happy with my dish. My friend ordered the rotisserie chicken half and he was very disappointed. Our server said it was popular but I think he may have just had a bad one. He said it tasted like they boiled the chicken then put it on the rotisserie, very dry. Presentation was nice. And I ate the mashed potatoes on his plate. The garlic bread is good too. Even dipped in the linguine sauce. I loved it. I would come here again except my friend would not want to. Maybe don't order the rotisserie chicken.
Nice atmosphere and a large outdoor patio. Also, there is a bar with quite a few 35 - or 40-inch tvs. The drinks or good and the price on the menu's not bad. It's located next to a moble park and golf course near buy, and a lot of locals support the restaurant and bar. It seems most of the patrons were of retirement age.

I had a steak sandwich, medium rare. It was the best steak sandwich I've ever had. Great local restaurant serving locally grown wine. Staff is friendly with good service. Nice atmosphere. Have eaten here a number of times and all my meals have been great
