The worst airport bar I've ever been to. 11 dollars for a half pour of beer. Five minutes later the bartender demanded we close out and start another tab if we wanted another. Said no I wouldn't. She said be she would get manager. We waited 20 min no one came. We went to terminal and security came up saying we didn't pay tab. I mean how long we're we supposed to wait. Be what a joke

Always... closed, even before 8:45 pm, and if you lucky and got served, they kick you out before 8:50pm.Horrible

last night was our first time in this fine restaurant. But It is surely not the last time. We had a good time with the efficient service, with the fine food and booze and with the modest cost. We will absolutely go back there in a short time.

I waited 30 min (on my break) and my food was never made. The guy finally made my order and it was wrong. No compensation. Nothing! Refunded my money. Waste of my entire break

$17 Paloma. Whao. The first bartender was clueless to what a Paloma was even though I said grapefruit and tequila. He made a orange and tequila, then a pineapple and tequila and then finally had the lAdy bartendEr make it. She was very nice and made a ok Paloma. But damn $17 plus tip for a short. Eye gouging.

I was passing through the sacramento airport with my wife and 2 kids, ages 1 and 3. The airline put our bags on the wrong flight and we got stuck at the airport for a few hours. We decided to go to The Gateway Bar. Justin S. was amazing! He turned our evening around with his above and beyond service. If I'm ever in this airport, I promise I'll be stopping by again hoping that Justin is there.

This Pre Security location near the boarding area to TSA has a nationwide distinction of full bar service where only eight exist. And if I'm waiting to pick up friends and family meet me here. Joyce will offer up generous pours of red and witty conversation at the Bar. Watch the wave of tourists flow through and stay in the moment of not having to be anywhere else.

I had a hard time rating this place. It looks like a great place to eat. The decor makes it feel peaceful and isolated which I love. But being my first time here is why I gave them a 3 rating. Obviously they don't know whose here for the first time. But I watched all 3 of my coworkers go inside today for the first time as well and all loved their food. I even watched them eating etc from a distance only because we actually work here close enough to see everything that goes on inside. But I felt like I was thrown out. When I arrived, the employee says how can I help you? I'm not throwing you out by the way! Ok at first I thought it was nice but like can I see a menu first, I had literally just walked in and sat down at the bar. So I place my order for the bacon and cheddar burger with fries. Ok I'm here ready to enjoy a late lunch while on lunch break. They bring my food in a bag to go? Yes they did. I looked at my food like seriously? I never said to go, I wanted to sit inside and eat just like everyone else. But since I felt like I was being thrown out, I gladly walked out and ate my food right there on the chairs right outside the restaurant. Had I ate inside, I would've told them how salty my fries were. I never tasted fries that salty in my life. But the burger was excellent. But just the way everything happened, I would have to be a bit skeptical about coming back to dine here. It's sad because I was really looking forward to it. I had a long day at work so I just wanted to sit in silence and eat away. Yeah that didn't happen. I really hope this doesn't happen to anyone else because I honestly think they can do extremely better than this. The place looks like it has great potential.
