Legit authentic NY style pizza!! The owner has been making pizza since the age of 8, he was originally from NY. The pizza is amazing and authentic, would highly recommend.

First time coming here and was fortunate to have a small Da Bronx Bomber. Taste was delicious and the ingredients were fresh. As soon as you open the box you'll be intoxicated by the smell. The atmosphere was great and the service was wonderful. Looking forward to trying out other pizzas.

I attempted to try this place out, but after waiting for my pizza for over 30 minutes I asked how much longer for my order and I was told that my pizza was given to someone else by mistake. No apology. I was told I had to wait another 30 minutes for a pizza. I asked for a refund and the cashier didn’t even attempt to keep my business. I was a first time customer. Extremely poor service. If I could I would give a zero for service.

Absolutely some of the best pizza I've had! Plus their homemade Ranch is so delicious!

I love to come here for lunch. Giovanni’s Old World New York Pizzeria has the best pizzas, and the gentlemen who work there are so friendly. Both of the indoor and outdoor dining areas are comfortable. I like the outdoor seating when the weather is good. I have not tried the dinner there yet! But I drove by a few times. It looks so beautiful! I'm sure I will try it one night!Vegetarian options: They have so many items for vegetariansParking: ADA parking is availableWheelchair accessibility: No problem with a wheelchair

This aint New York pizza. I believe at one point this place was good. The workers here don’t know what they’re doin. Quality no longer lives here. Wish customers would speak up more. I just wasted my time and money.

We had to wait 45 minutes for a calzone. Garlic bread a small pizza. Small. The lady that answered the phone got me on hold for 10 minutes and when I got home this how so called garlic bread looks like and didn’t even taste like garlic. It was cold and just nasty. Terrible and terrible customer service. My husband goes here because he likes his thin crust pizza. I never like this place the last time I ordered wings here my homemade wings tasted and looked better. We won’t be going back. I feel bad for the owner because the workers sucks!!!

It is Saturday, February 3, 2024. I just came from Giovanni’s. I got there at around 2:20 PM and ordered the lunch special. I was really in the mood for pepperoni pizza so I ordered one slice of pepperoni and one slice of the Don Giovanni. A tall young guy with a thin black mustache took my order. He looked very confused. His customer service skills were nil. I asked him if he had both the Don Giovanni and pepperoni slices available and he said yes. 40 minutes later - no food. It really wasn’t very busy. I caught a shorter guy and told him what I had ordered 40 minutes earlier. Five minutes later the tall guy came to my table and asked “what did you order again?” I told him. 10 minutes later, the shorter guy came out and laid two pieces of Don Giovanni in front of me and tried to walk away without saying anything. I told him that this was not what I had ordered. His reply: we don’t got no more pepperoni. What kind of customer service is this? They could not have been upfront with me and said “sorry we ran out of pepperoni. Here are our other choices?” They couldn’t maybe have taken a slice of cheese pizza and put some pepperoni on it? If they would’ve been upfront with me, I could’ve just asked for my money back and gone down the street to another place -/ but they didn’t. When the owner is there for lunch Monday through Friday you will never have problems. At night and on the weekends when he is not there I have never seen a more inconsistent hit or miss restaurant in my life. When the owner is not there, it’s like the twilight zone: always expect the unexpected. After all that it happened I really could not enjoy the pizza very much. I will boycott this place indefinitely even weekdays when the owner is there. I hate to slam the place because I really like the owner. But as a guggle reviewer, I feel I have a duty to let people know about a place: good or bad.

It took me 75 minutes to prepare my pizza!!!They take a very long time to prepare, the service doesn’t care about the customers, this is the worst pizza place I’ve ever been to in my life.

The Things I See

The quality of the pizza has gone down exponentially. This used to be my favorite pizza place in Sac, now it doesn’t even make the top 5 list. Also, at this day and age, with steam cleaners going for $80 on amazon, there is no reason for their bathroom to look as filthy as it does.
