I went to this place after a long day at work. After a long day at work, having comforting Filipino food is probably a top 10 feeling in the world. We walked in and were greeted by a man who was extremely friendly taking our order. We ordered a BBQSilog (2 chicken skewers, eggs & garlic rice) & a Tosilog (Tocino, eggs & garlic rice). For dessert we ordered the turon which was extremely delicious after having all that savory food. While waiting for the food, connected to the restaurant is a little convenience/grocery store! It had all types of Filipino groceries, even different types of pandesal in the back! The restaurant is pretty small, as it only has two tables where you can sit and eat. Overall, the food here was delicious, and I would definitely come back again.

Kusina is a wonderful little place to get authentic Filipino cuisine! I stopped by here today and got the BBQ Silog with garlic rice and fried eggs and let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious! It comes with a small cup of vinegar, didn’t know what it was for so I put it on everything and OMG, it was sooo good! I highly recommend this restaurant if you are a foodie like me! I can’t wait to try their Pork Sisig!

My favorite place to order lumpia trays for parties. They are so nice and the service is always great! The lumpia is so good and always fresh and hot! My fave is the chicken lumpia.

Cute little mom and Pop Filipino food takeout/grocery store. Easy to find as you walk in is the little takeout with your basic Filipino food like chicken adobo, different type of lumpias, pork dishes, Pancit bihon, sisig, garlic rice, pork singang. It's a cute little place where you can find Filipino groceries as well for someone like me who rarely ever cooks Filipino it was nice to find little packets that let me make some of my other favourite dishes like karekare. I like that they show you photos of the food and tell you what the specials of the day are. As you walk into the left-hand side, they show you the different size containers that the food comes in. They also do catering here. We'll have to come back and try some of the other items.

It's really not a restaurant. Take out food only. They have tables out front but were really surprised when we wanted to use them and eat there. They were out of nearly everything in the menu when we ordered, so maybe we were getting the reheated leftovers here. That said, I'm positive the lumpia are frozen - they advertise the brand they use right on the walls, and the taste reflects it. The adobo chicken had a very flavorful broth but was about 80% bones, nearly no meat. The pancit was inconsistent - had a bunch of random other noodles in it which didn't belong, and it lacked seasoning.

My friend and I were desperately craving Filipino food and stumbled upon this place, and I'm so happy that we did! Located in the Natomas area of Sacramento, this mom and pop shop serves Filipino cuisine and is best known for their silogs. The interior is cozy with a couple of seating options inside, although most of the seating will be outside. I originally ordered the tosilog, but they ran out (it must be popular!) so I went for the longsilog instead. It was so delicious! Generous portions and a perfect ratio of longanisa, rice, and egg. The silogs also come with a slice of cucumber and tomato and is also served with vinegar. I had a little taste of my friend's order, the BBQsilog, and it was TENDER and the marinade was so good. They also have a little market area to buy common Filipino ingredients. There is a rack with fresh baked pandesal for a great price. I got the ube cheese pandesal for less than $5 and each piece is huuuge. Love that! Service was spectacular, the one who helped us (I'm assuming the owner of the shop) was super kind! I really appreciate the hospitality we received. If y'all are in the area and craving Filipino food, this is the spot to go! Note: The parking area is toward the back of the store, and the actual entrance to the building will be facing the roads!

Food was good. Customer service leaves something to be desired. Ordered food online and it was marked as ready for pickup. When I arrived, they had no knowledge of my order and made me wait until they could make it on the spot.

I saw a video of this place from TikTok so me and the girls had to try it! It's a smaller mom and pop store/ restaurant. I wouldn't really call it a restaurant but the food is AMAZING!! The flavor is amazing and nothing is over cooked or under cooked! I got the spam masubi, chicken adobo, pork lumpia, and the chicken plate and I added Longanisas and lastly we got a plate of pancit, I will say the pan it was my favorite! It's hard to find good pan it usually it has no flavor and it's just noodles but their pan it is very good I didn't need to add any soy sauce or anything!

Ordered Lechon Kawali and two orders of Tapsilog. It was good. The Lechon Kawali may have been overcooked as the meat was tough but as long as you ate it right away, it was okay. The tapa was cut in bit sizes and had a side of vinegar. Eggs are cooked sunny side up unless special requested. Total was $48 but paid cash so $46.

Delicious! We got takeout. 10 pieces pork lumpia, large sinigang, and tosilog. So worth the price. It would be a crime for them to charge what they were charging a few years ago -- they give you SO MUCH FOOD, and it's so worth it. I hope they stay in business for a long time! I'm pinay, so I'm familiar with most of what they offer on the menu. I was in the mood for some home cooking (sick of American takeout) and found Kusina Lumpia while searching Yelp for Filipino food. The bad reviews scared me a little, but we decided to give this place a shot anyway and I'm so glad we did because wow! Everything was so good! The large sinigang had SO MUCH meat, it ended up feeding us for two days. And it was delicious! Just make sure you either order a side of rice, or have some rice ready at home. And if you've never had sinigang before, put a little soy sauce on your rice to eat with it -- so good. The tosilog had REAL tocino in it -- thick cuts and small cuts, served with tons of garlic fried rice, two eggs, and a small side of cucumber, sliced tomato, and vinegar. Really delicious. I wish I could eat this every day. And the pork lumpia came in a paper bag! Which I prefer because it keeps them from getting soggy in a closed container, and the paper bag helps soak up some of the oil (though they weren't oily at all, just delicious). We'll 100% come back here again. We got here just before closing to pick up our food (if you order over the phone instead of via Yelp, you get a better price). Hubby kept saying how good it smelled. Highly recommend if you're craving Filipino food!

The Tapsilog is ok. I was in town for business and stopped by here before the day started. Is it a restaurant, is it a store, is it a catering place ? All of the above. They charged me for ice and didn't have any hot drinks like coffee. No bathrooms. $100 bill not accepted unless you order at least $50 of food. Not very business friendly for customers. Reminds me of how customers are treated in the Philippines - polite but not efficient. This is more of a 2.5 star review .

Always friendly, and a great place to order lumpia for any party, potluck, or just for yourself! The lumpia is Shanghai style, and full of flavor. They're crispy and delicious! The counter is inside the grocery store, and you have to enter from the street facing side, not the parking lot. The staff is awesome and friendly! We'll be back again for sure!

Just nit worth what you pay for so I will not recommend it. Theres actually a few good spots in the area and worth what you pay for.

Their 3 different lumpia selections are awesome! I usually get the pork and shrimp. Their chicken adobo is better than mine. Just the right amount of tangy, chicken flavorful throughout and generous portions. Their pinakbet is a hard no however but it's not regularly on the menu. The garlic rice and lechon jaw Ali is really good and generous. I've yet to finish the portion given. It's definitely for a party plate.
