One of the few good values left when it comes to all you can eat restaurants! The value is unbeatable at less than $20 a person after tax and tip. It is your standard Mongolian BBQ format where you create your own bowl to your preferences and hand it off to be cooked. If you are paying the dinner price you are allowed to create as many bowls as you like.If you are on your first bowl, you can request a to go box which is nice if you don't end up finishing your first bowl. The staff are wonderful and it's a fun little place that appears to have been here for quite some time. Definitely worth a stop and don't forget to tip the chefs!

Simple easy lunch meal. Just get what you want smash it with a bowl and get it cooked. This will take 1 serving to make you full in the Tummy. Golden Balls is an awesome 1 stop hole in the wall place.

One of my wife's favorite restuants. We went for lunch for her birthday. We only got the lunch bowl because it is a huge bowl, comes with soup, rice, wonton strips and sauce. We love that they offer a variety of meats, veggies and sauces. The offer Ice Cream too with the meal! Theyre very nice too.Allergies - everything is cooked on the same cook top. Peanuts are a option.

I think what sets this place from others is the sauce selection. Kung pow is definitely a must if you like it on the spicy side. Vegetables can be hit and miss on selection as for mushrooms and water chestnuts, which are sometimes not available. Free soft serve ice cream ?. Overall, good

Good mongolian, IF you get your sauces/flavors right. Most of the time, it's fresh veggies and good meat. Occasionally, there will be left over veggies that you can tell are a 1-2 days old. Same goes for any mongolian, in honesty. My Family and I have eaten here a few dozen times now and have very much enjoyed a yummy meal. Very yummy ? just get your sauces/seasoning right. Might take a few tries!! Once you learn it, BOMB ?.

I have regularly dined at Golden Bowls since moving here 15 years ago, at least 10 times per year.. Never, not once, have I had a negative experience. The food is top quality and the service amazing. It's a small venue, but service is so exceptional even on days with a wait list the wait is short. I give Golden Bowls five stars because that's the maximum, I wish I could give them 1 million stars. We love Golden Bowls!

Beautiful is different... functionally furnished dining options... because restaurants are also different. They make an effort and the guests are very welcoming. This is also due to the manageable prices compared to the rest of Sacramento. If you don't like the food, it's your own fault. You put it together yourself. Meat, side dishes, vegetables, sauces... something for every palate. Then you go to the Mongolia grill and the grill master heats the ingredients of your choice. Great for dinner projects...all you can eat. Ice cream from dessert included. It's very interesting to see how the grill masters work with the ingredients on the round grill plate and transform them into a tasty meal.I'm going back...my wallet thanks me and I'm more than full. Mind you, only dinner time (from 4 pm) is all you can eat time. Also the option to take food with you...The employees are nice, the toilet is rather poor but works.

Gone here since birth. Amazing amazing amazing. Please go here. Smush ur meat down in the bowl with your hands to get more. The prices are incredible, and the service is so good that your tip more than makes up for itVegetarian options: Mongolian bbq style service menas you choose everything that goes in your bowl at a buffet, so you can serve yourself vegetarian bowls

Consistent experience over the years. I wish they had some of the options that other places do like Lamb. The ambience is solidly hole-in-the wall with minimal frills but, is clean and well operated so the food is good.

My daughter was hungry & she didn't want subway (inside Wal-Mart) and she didn't want Denny's. Since I haven't seen a Mongolian BBQ place in san francisco, we came here...to golden bowls ? ?

I really like this place. Even so, it looked a little bit worn out, but the food is great, and people who work there are very kind, and I always feel welcome to this place. They also have good ice cream!!!

If you are looking for a hole-in-the-wall Mongolian bbq that takes you back to the mid 90s this is the place. Food was good.
