A nice spot on H for a coffee and a seat.Needed a quick pick me up and to knock out some work and this spot fit the bill perfectly.Ordered Raspberry Nirvana, Hot with Oat milk and a Chocolate Croissant. Was a nice complex flavored coffee and straight forward croissant.

Expensive. 10 min wait for a brewed coffee pour. Coffee was ok. Staff sort of acted like they were doing me a favor by selling me coffee.

Nice shop. Lots of space and a very open plan. Coffee is pretty standard. I went near closing so no pastries were out so I can’t speak to them.

Goodside Coffee is one of the coolest, if not, the best coffee shops that I’ve visited here in Sacramento. I love the decor and the vibe that they provide honestly. Big shoutout to Ale for making us feel so welcome especially because I was in town for the California All-State Music Educators Conference, also known as CASMEC. Big kudos go to y’all!I got their vanilla latte with quad shots (yeah, I know, I was quite intense for getting four shots on two hours of sleep) - but the coffee aftertaste was CRISP and LINGERING. The butter jam toast that I got was really sweet and the melted butter texture was JUST right!I’d definitely give this place a try once more if you’re thinking about visiting Sacramento and don’t know which local business to support — it’s worth it!Dietary restrictions: They have dairy-free options for milks!Parking: There’s a parking lot next to the coffee shop (big plus for that)!

One of my favorite coffee places. Get the raspberry nirvana and you won't regret it! Love the ambiance, great place for studying. It's on the pricier side for coffee so I treat myself once in a while. Service is a hit or miss for me.

Beautiful coffee shop. Flavorful and great coffee! Tons of natural light. Lots of outlets for plugin. Friendly staff. Someone came in directly towards me asking for money- I appreciated the staff came out quickly and politely asked that person to leave. You gotta protect your business and all your hard work serving customers! Highly recommend Goodside, go grab a cup!

Stopped by for the first time last week and was pleasantly surprised how delicious my latte was. The shop ambiance is open and inviting, with plenty of spaces to hunker down and get work done e on your laptop. I always like to order from the seasonal menus at coffee shops for fun new flavor combos, and the (marzipan??) latte here didn't disappoint. Without being overly sweet, it still packed plenty of flavor while letting the coffee shine through. Just when I think I've visited all the cool coffee shops in Sac, I discover another. Will definitely be back to try some of the pastries and other beverages they offer. Cheers!

Slowly (but surely) going through the whole coffee shop circuit in downtown/midtown Sac (still have a bunch bookmarked). Had the urge to try this one because I had a craving for a lox bagel lol.--------------Bagel & lox: love the bagel that's made in-house! It actually has a little bit of NYC bagel flair with its chewy-tackiness (which I'm a huge fan of in bagels). Quite tasty bagel sandwich all around.Iced mocha: pretty much like caffeinated chocolate milk to me lol. I mean, I really dig the rich chocolate taste, but I wanted a bold roasted taste from the coffee itself as well (was very mild). Nonetheless, not a bad choice if you need a general chocolate-y pick-me-up.Monkey bread: a must-order if you see it in the display case! Its taste and texture is reminiscent of the center of a fluffy cinnamon roll. Not overly sweet either!--------------One of the friendliest staff groups that I've interacted with at a coffee shop. I visited on a Sunday morning; chill, indie-music-tastic atmosphere. There was plenty of available street parking at the time. Overall recommend checking this one out if you're in the area. :)

Atmosphere was cool and staff was so friendly. I had a seasonal drink a coffee with mazapan. My daughter and I were specifically in the mood for a lox bagel. We came here based on pictures instead of another recommendation where the salmon looked cooked on the bagel. In honesty it was okay. I like my lox and bagel open faced, that's how I saw it in the picture, and didn't expect to get it in sandwich form...So I guess if that's the way you like or are used to you need to ask. The taste was alright. All in all a little dry. The coffee was good enough to make it an enjoyable experience.

Had a delicious pumpkin chai with espresso and was really charmed by how relaxed and genuine the barista seemed. I totally get when coffee shops are going at a mile a minute but I really appreciated the calm, friendly vibe here :)
