Very well fried. Delicate and not saturated in oil. The location is another story. Worth a trip (in daylight) if you like well fried fish and shrimp. They do tempura veggies too.

It was my first time at this place. The catfish meal was very good! The male person who took our order was nice. I waited with another customer for our order and she told me this place had been around for decades. She always enjoyed their delicious food. We dined in and it was pleasant. Parking is limited in the back.

If your hunger and driving down 16th street this place will work. I have to admit the cook is good; batter crunchy and fish flaky, I wish it was more for the price. The prawns not bad but I’ve had better, nice size though, I would say the fish lacked flavoring which would have added to a great eat. Again if you’re hungry this will do, however there are more flavorful fish fry’s out there.

This is a super cute hidden gem! They have really cheap prices, the portions are huge and the food is great quality. Very happy we stopped by!

Food is delicious. Reminds me of the egg sausage chips when I grew up in Richmond. The proprietor and his wife are very friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

My first visit I noticed that this place is filthy, but when I was younger my dad would get H.Salt and I always enjoyed it. Hoping to get the same great experience. The fish was good but coleslaw was rank. On my second visit it was filthy again, tables were sticky and gross. When I placed my order I didn't get the coleslaw instead I got the hush puppies. If you want to get shuffled Around they do that for you. They put me back three places behind other people that came after me. Very bad service and very doughy hush puppies. I will never go to that particular business. When I brought up the incident and the wrongness of it they didn't even apologize for the mistake. Bad people.
