The Heat restaurant was excellent tonight. The broth was very flavorful, all the meats we tried were good. Excellent service. This was our first time going, and we tried it all. We will be back.

We've somehow become regulars here! Arriving for an early dinner on a weeknight guarantees an immediate table and quick service. Fri/Sat night usually has long wait.

can not discourage you enough from going here.Hostess was extremely rude and short. As an example: Had to ask for the standard garlic and chives and in return got a heavy sigh and an eye rollNot only that, it was difficult to even get service because the hostess/waitress was taking shots with friends while they were the only ones getting decent service.Waited 35 minutes while there were 3 open tablesPray you don't sit under the AC. since the workers are drunk and hot, they blast the AC in the dead of winter. Bring a jacket!!!The menu is extremely restrictive compared to other Hot PotsThe service is SLOOOOOOOWWWWWWanted to try this place because i love the downtown locationHonestly if I were the Heat Shabu from Downtown I wouldn't affiliate myself AT ALL with this place. It's a far far fall from the downtown location. As insult to injury, they don't have wagyu meatballs!Otherwise the food was decent. but not worth the price and the troubleWill not be returning. 0/10. do NOT recommend!!!

We planned to go to their other location, but they couldn't accommodate us until later in the evening. We decided to come here instead. The main negative thing about this place is the limited parking. Inside, the restaurant feels more spacious than the original location. Even so, there is no waiting area. My friend was told to wait in the car for the rest of the party to arrive. We did the AYCE, and on Mondays that includes (most) appetizers. Meat-wise, I preferred the beef and fish all. As for the appetizers, I liked the salt n pepper wings and supreme tuna. At the end, we were given green tea ice cream. Our waitress was great- attentive. We left stuffed.

Party of four, service was slow but friendly, food was good. I wish that was enough to change this from anything other than one star, but when all four people in our party got sick, there is nothing positive to say. The bathrooms are absolutely gag-inducingly filthy, which is saying something because it means they didn't bother to clean them from the day before. And you know what they say about dirty bathrooms reflecting upon the cleanliness of the kitchen... We will NOT be back. Frankly, we're afraid to go back.

we’ve come here many times before - and it’s been amazing. but tonight we arrived with a party of 8, right at 430pm and ordered all you can drink & eat. didn’t receive our first drink or food for 30minutes. and we were cut off at 6 on the dot. usually they are super cool, so not sure if policy changed. i understand the 90 minute rule. but assumed that starts when the first drink comes to the table. not to mention there was only one other 2 person table in the whole restaurant when we arrived.just disappointed tonight. colleen, seemed to be super cold as our waitress.

I usually go to the downtown location, but I’ve eaten here once before and order takeout from here all the time. They have a great takeout deal for couples and families if you ever want to do hot pot at home. Service is always on point too. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. I always have a great experience here.

My family and I wanted to eat somewhere where it's mostly just meat. We saw Heat out of nowhere and thought ok hopefully it's not packed since it's Sat. The parking sucks just to be honest. There's additional in the back but , nope, no parking at all! We tried again in the front and got lucky. If there was no parking then we would have left. Chu, hopefully that's his name correctly spelled. I should have asked. He was our server. He is super awesome! He was attentive and friendly. He made my lychee sake tini and it was so good. The meats were good! Omg! The wagyu and kobe beef were soooo good!! The soup broths were really good! First time doing hotpot and we were having fun and it was a great experience. Thank you, Chu! You are awesome!

One of my favorite spots to come to for hotpot. It is a little pricy but honestly it's worth it.The broths are FULL of flavor. I have tried every single one and they did not disappoint. My two favorites are the spicy miso and the BBH. The staff was super cool and helpful. She saw that I obviously liked spicy food and gave me a side of habanero sauce to dip my food in or add to the broth. 10/10.I have tried every meat and seafood possible. The quail eggs are good, the fish balls are amazing, and the beef is just to die for. Everything tastes amazing in their sesame sauce. I always have to ask for extra sauce. Even though the meat is filling, I still always have to get sides of veggies and ramen to add to the soup. Once you finish everything and have leftover broth, I always top it off with a cup of their steamed rice. Perfect combination.I also ordered their sake and soju. Pairs amazing with the food and you eat so much you don't realize how tipsy you get.I've been here multiple times and will continue coming back. I wish they would open up a spot near the Roseville area because I would be there every week.
