For those who missed this, what was Pivot is under new ownership as of a few months ago. Current hrs weekday to 2p (recently until noon) looking to go later soon. Weekends until 4p. New / different coffees from previous ownership.

I checked out this coffee shop on a whim since I was in Sacramento. I ordered the darkside which was coffee and espresso. That drink was tasty and had me wired for the rest of the day. I also ordered a hazelnut and praline kouign-amann, wild blueberry muffin, and bacon onion croissant. All of the pastries were really tasty. I would recommend this spot for both coffee and pastries.

R.I.P Pivot coffee Pivot was the best transition cafe from the old owners of this spot to the new management.What I loved about Pivot, no lines, no pretentious attitude if my pants weren't rolled up to the right height, but best of all was the Midtown double !A Vanilla Latté and a Side shot for $7.40 out the door!! Not a on the menus combo, but it really should have been.Today Mon March 27th was the day everything changed.I walked in to get my normal morning combo and I was treated not by the normal girl at the register but some random hipster dude w/ a freshly seeping (covered) tattoo on his hand and no knowledge of the menus or what the regular customers ordered.Instead I was grated with dumb attitude / and the pretentiousness of Mast on broadway .... One of the things I've tried to avoid at all costs.So my normal combo went from a 16oz vanilla latte and side shot for $7.40 To a 12oz sweetened latte ( vanilla is the devil I guess now) And my side shot is now $4.40 "because we only pull doubles" Ok buddy, tell me whatever you want too but the only thing that's changed here is you!!Goodbye Pivot, once Mast changes the menus back I'll start coming back.

The coffee was good but thirty minutes before closing time the barista said no to my request for a ceramic rather than a paper cup, when all the other patrons in the shop had ceramic cups. For a six dollar oat milk latte (before tip) it didn’t seem like too much to ask. :(
Delicious cappuccino and almond croissant. Cool place but the music was too loud to have a conversation with the business associate I met there.

I went with some friends to the coffee shop to get coffee and study. The staff were nice, and the service was quick. The coffee shop was dog friendly which I loved! Bothe the coffee and quiche was delicious highly recommended.

My wife and I went in at 1:20 to order coffee drinks and pastries. The girl at the counter told us they had to be to go orders only bc they close at 2 and are cleaning during that time. We went there for the experience of drinking coffee and hanging out at a cool place. Not to get told that it’s to go only with 50 minutes till closing. That’s not customer friendly. All you’re trying to do is save money by not paying your employees after closing time to do cleanup at the customers expense. We left and went to Temple and had a great experience. Sorry Pivot, you blew it. Also, Temple is open all day.

One one my favorite coffee shops. It's spacious and the baristas are always so nice! They make you feel welcomed and they making awesome drinks. Perfect study spot or just to grab a quick coffee or tea. They also have sweet and savory pastries!

Great coffee. Pastries were really good. Lots of space to work / read etc. I suggest they improve the inside to look a little nicer. I recommend they add a really nice sign saying pivot behind the coffee bar.
