I ordered a vodka soda water with a lime wedge. I received a small glass full of ice with absolutely no vodka. Instead of a lime wedge they squeezed pure lime juice in it. Besides the god awful drink , it cost $15. Then paying for it and signing my card receipt I noticed they added $2.40 gratuity. Water downed expensive sneaky and rude about it. Stick with bottled beer and no need to leave cash tip cause they add it in your bill automatically. I should add that it was the bar on main floor, not downstairs.

We were visiting from Upstate New York so we had to get the most authentic Mexican tacos!! All the $1tacos were tasty and delicious! But the owner Hugo and his daughter Valerie made our experience the best ever! They were very accommodating and their customer service was A1!! Thank you for the hospitality,we'll be sure to come back when we're in town!!

This place took a definite turn for the worse. Not only in the completely obvious ways (like constant fighting, barely passable drinks, and some of the 'hoodest' crowds outside of Old Sac) but in less obvious ways as well (poor sound. poor lighting, and in my opinion, poor management and staff). Unfortunately, it's morphed into just another club in Midtown that at one time had potential and is now below average, even for this town's standards.

ever walk into a place where you thought to yourself " What the eff is happening here? and why am I here" yea thats this place. So Image is a club that I would only go to IF 1. I was paid. 2.I was already smashed to the point of almost blacked crunked. 3. I was paid. yes again. ok so thats a bit mean... really though i got there it was hot muggy downstairs and up. they had broken glass everywhere on the ground. downstairs is GROSSS!!! I came there once and the bathrooms downstairs were backed up to the point where water was seeping into the hall, and it made the entire downstairs smell like -ish, yet even after the fact there was a couple freaking against the bathroom wall, in the puddle... yea will not come back! drinks are expensive and weak and bouncers are d-bags... there are better places to spend your night and your money, bye Image Not-so VIP lounge.

Image is the kind of place that has so much potential to be a great Venue, It just needs a little leadership and direction. so lets get into it. First off the Venue is very nice with a touch of Classic swank and a twist of modern club nastyness (if thats even a word). The option of the down stairs makes this venue a sight to see but only if they used it more and took more avantage of it's natural underground style and vibe. Many people do not know it but Image has an Hidden Gem within it. "Toppingz Pizza" Serving what is called by many "The best Pizza in Sacramento". The Food is very good from the Pizza to the Mouth watering Burgers, Toppings Pizza has great food at a great price, if you make it in for Happy Hour that is your best bet. All in all Image has alot of room to grow but with the right Direction it could become a great Venue for Happy Hours and a Night of Club Going.

Hmm..such mixed reviews! I think my feelings for Image are neutral. I've only been here once and it was on a Wednesday night! We were lulled in by advertisements that said $2 drink specials. When we got there, we didn't hear of any drink specials. But then again, we never cared to ask. There was no cover, so of course, I was feelin' good the minute I walked in. We walked straight to the bar and to a bald headed bartender. He made conversation, tried to be funny, but was border line annoying. He made up for it by giving the birthday girl a free shot and me a free beer! ;P They had a local rapper (I think local?) come to perform. My friends didn't enjoy it too much, they were waiting for the DJ to starting spinnin' hip hop again. However, I didn't mind it too much. It's different than the usual and the guy's music wasn't too bad, either. The DJ was pretty good, too. The music kept my friends and I dancing. I'm surprised there was quite a few people there for a Wednesday night but I think that was just because of the rapper + gang. There was also a big group that came together, too. Overall, I wasn't disappointed by my Wednesday night experience. I didn't get to go upstairs but hope to come back on a weekend and I hope to see a bangin' crowd with bangin' music!

The Dungeon of Sacramento.. that's how i felt when I was here... It was awfully awkward here, IMO. From the outside, it looks cool and popping. The bartenders were okay. The crowd was modest in size and calm. I guess I didn't feel this club like i should of; moreover, my group of friends didn't either. Maybe the crowd didn't have that much energy or something? Nonetheless, i would try again just to make my review unbiased. But as a first time impression, I would go somewhere else. Pros: Looks cooL from the outside Cons: Feels like a dungeon :P Rating: flat 2

Image Lounge and Toppingz Pizza hosted our rehearsal dinner and they did and absolutely amazing job. The pizza from Toppingz was tasty and the drinks and music at Image was great. Everyone was able to relax and have a fantastic time. We truly had a blast. I would highly recommend Image and Toppingz for private events.
