Located right off the freeway in Natomas. Locate in the Walmart shopping center. Look right soon as you enter the parking lot. A great place if you're looking for a lunch buffet. Also great if you are crunched for time on your lunch hour. They seat you quickly and bring out fresh nan with every table. There are so many options of what to eat. I loved the honey donuts. I don't know their official name, all I know is they are delicious. The butter chicken is also good, but be ware it's full of chicken so don't take too much. It's easy to put too much on your plate as your eyes are always bigger than your stomach. They also serve the traditional rice pudding for dessert. As you can see I'm a big fan of their desserts. There are too many dishes to name on the buffet. You just need to go to experience it.

Wife and I went to lunch buffet here today and everything was delicious. So much options and quick service. Quality of food is top notch. Lettuce for salad was a little pink in some spots but not too bad enough to stop me from eating it. I loved the fish they had there, it was awesome. Garlic naan was great too. I'd say one of the best Indian restaurants in Natomas. Love the decor and the cleanliness.

Dropped in for lunch after a lunch meeting at Panera (their choice, not mine) was cancelled. I'm glad I made my way to this place. Nice atmosphere. Clean and well arranged dining room. And the buffet was awesome! Offering green salad, fresh fruit, appetizers, entrees, and some limited desserts. They asked if I would like regular or garlic naan when I was seated. I chose garlic and it was very fresh and nicely prepared when I received it a few minutes later. The items that stood out for me on the buffet were the lamb curry and the butter chicken. These items were very tasty! It came to right around $20 for one buffet. In my opinion it was worth it; the food was really good!

The best food I’ve ever had in a long time in a such a long time they have really brought the flavours out. This is coming from an Indian who owns an Indian restaurant the paneer. It’s so good creamy the chicken tikka masala, the sauce just hits the spot butter chicken chicken, so tender I just want to keep eating. Thank you for keeping a restaurant open and I will keep ordering.
Great Environment and atmosphere inside the restaurant. Clean and Shining everywhere, combination of art and light glow together bring a charmful area. Friendly environment welcome with friends and family with kids as well. Prices are bit a high but compare to the portion of the foods make to shareable with colleagues. Highly recommended! Location are perfect with shopping as well as watch movies at the same colony.

Updated review - lunch buffet only. India Oven is back to its pre-COVID glory. This review is a little late. Service here has always been outstanding, and their food is great. Staff keep your beverage topped off, and clear dirty plates away quickly. Our past few visits to their buffet have had all our favorite items.

Delicious food and great for groups. Our group ordered 7-8 items from veggies to meat, everything was absolutely delicious. Portions are bigger than other Indian restaurants though, you've been warned. Can't wait to come back! Service was very friendly as well, they did try to warn us it was a lot of food, we should have listened.

Went one day to the buffet it was excellent, everything so delicious, then went another and ordered from menu, everything we ordered was so delicious, great customer service, friendly, nice ambiance, excellent restaurant, so so good highly recommend

Food was ok but not very good. We ordered a paratha and they charged for aachar and raita as well. Who serves a paratha without any of them. They didn't even mention that it will be charged until the bill showed up.
