I love coming here but I feel like recently they've gone a little down in quality. The chicken is always dry and over cooked, they don't use as much sauce/toppings & even my side of pepperocinis aren't the best quality.

Affordable dining in the heart of Midtown Sacramento.Mixed crowd... slightly more difficult parking situation. Food is okay (tasty salads with lots of choices... you can put it together yourself. It is then served.)It won't put too much strain on your wallet... and that's in expensive Sacramento.Flair is not that intoxicating... but as written, an inexpensive eating alternative.

When I first walked into JACK'S URBAN EATS with my 7yr old, I felt some interesting energy from all the 19yr old look-a-likes behind the counter...It was the energy, that someone was placing bets, on whether I'll be a "good tipper" or not, and it reminded me, not everyone comes to work because they love it, it's always the money...We ordered the club sandwich with fries to go, because we were really there, to trainspot the next BNSF freight train, which ran behind the restaurant, and their parking lot is a prime spot for eating and admiring a large freight train, cruising through the city...The sandwich turned out to be ok...Nothing special, but definitely not soggy, and loaded with the fresh stuff, fries were given the ok, by the kid, and reasonable wait time, easy peasy.Little did the 19yrs old know, that everything I ever had, was bought with tips...So I guess, I turned that unpredictable stereotype, on its head, percentage wise.

Great spot in midtown for tasty sandwiches, in house roasted tritip, turkey, balsamic veggies, and cheesy Mac. Salads are consistently delicious. Beyond meat taco salad is my vegan friend's favorite. Moderately priced. On the edge of Sacramento's Lavender district near Sacto's bars & gay communities.
