They sell expired products, they are not friendly and the service is very bad. The taste of their food is also very bad. Better stay hungry than go to a place like

I love other La Bou's restaurants but this one is miss managed. The espresso machine didn't work. They're selling expired bottled OJ. The front door was locked at first. No music going. Pretty bad all around.

I ordered a egg and cheese croissant from the drive through.. I had to repeat my order. I received the order in a fairly quick time, tipped a dollar, and drove away. As I took a bite I noticed the first 2 bites weee just bread. I looked at the croissant and noticed a roll of ham the size of 2 fingers. I returned to the store and it was locked. I decided it was not worth driving through the drive through again. I was driving away when the woman opened the door. I explained that I had asked for egg and cheese, no meat, and received ham, and no cheese. She said wait, and went inside. I waited two minutes thinking she was correcting my order when a man came out and asked what happened. I explained what I ordered and what I received. He made a sympathetic face and said “ maybe next time”. I drove away thinking that there would not be a next time. I decided to finish the croissant to not waste it, and get my protein. After I finished the roll of ham in the center, there was six bites of croissant, with no cheese. Very soft, but rather dry and bland. I can understand a miscommunication due to language barriers or faulty intercom . But the balled up ham in the middle of a croissant with 2 inches of bread on the perimeter is a sign of someone who does not care about the product they are serving. The “maybe next time” comment says it all in regards to Customer Service. The ordering miscommunication is a forgivable mistake, but the sloppily assembled croissant, and better luck next time are both deliberate. I will not be back to this LaBou!

I love La Bou so this was heart crushing to me. I found mold on Mt croissant and didn't notice it until I started to eat my croissant at break. I love love their croissants so I am just disappointed this wasn't fresh. I have never had this problem before but now I'm not sure when I'll be getting food from there at least not for a while. Which is really upsetting because it's my go to before I start work.

This used to be a great spot, but the new ownership in the past couple years has made a lot of cost-cutting changes and the quality has suffered terribly. Sad because I have been coming here since childhood, but their croissants are not flaky, baguette is different, and as you can see from this picture there is barely any apple in their "apple" croissant. Super disappointing. It seems this spot either needs new ownership, a total overhaul, or just to close at this point. It is so run down and it used to be so busy and bustling in the 1990s/2000s. Dragging everything down.

I grew up in Sacramento and would go to La Bou pretty regularly. Today we are back in town for a visit and went here for brunch. Although the building is showing its age, the customer service is excellent and the food and coffee is still great! I love that they have oat milk also. Thank you!

Always good food & quick service. Love the spicy Thai Soup. The salads are always fresh and the mango tea is amazing.

I gotta say, I've never had any issues with this LaBou! I go through their drive through at least twice month and they are lovely. Good service, always get my order right, good quality food. I'm Surprised by the bad reviews because I think it's the best LaBou in the area.
