Where do I begin. As soon as you walk in, you get a warm smile like a hug from Carmelita! The place looks really high end and the ambiance is extremely welcoming and calming. They know what they are doing and I wish them the best of success. We are forever customers now. When we sat down, Carmelita, explained everything about the menu, what is great, what she loves, what is popular, and what she thinks we like. We ended up having a Cesar salad, and 2 pizzas ( names under pictures). From the first bite, my eyes closed, and it was bliss. The dough was light and airy, the crust was full of flavor, and each bite takes you to another world. They know what they are doing and we met the chef to thank him for what he did. They have other styles of pizza so we are definitely coming back for the Detroit style deliciousness. Thank you for the delicious food, hospitality, and overall experience.

We really needed some good pizza in these parts! My husband and I are very picky and we both thought the pizza was excellent! I also love that they have different pizza style options. We got one New York and one Detroit - loved them both! Can't wait until their liquor license comes through so we can pair this delicious pizza with some vino! Let's support this place so they do well and stick around!

I was excited when I saw a new pizza place come up when I searched for hot and new. I was even more excited when I saw that they had a New York style pizza, at least I thought. We ordered a Detroit style pizza and a New York style pizza. Both pizzas were very good. The New York pizza is not what I would typically consider a New York style pizza, but was still good. The Detroit pizza, was what I expected and I really liked the roasted garlic that was on it.

La Porta was, simply put, amazing. The reviews are spot-on; the food is phenomenal. My favorite pizzas were the Catania and the Napoli, which were both on great crusts -- also, hot honey?? What an amazing flavor combination! I went with family and had a blast, the staff was super friendly, and I'm sure to be coming back soon!

My family and I live in Loomis. Every Friday night for many months we have tried a new pizzeria. We have been to dozens of different pizzeria's from Auburn to Sac. We stumbled across La Porta last week and stopped in for lunch mid week. It is hands down the best pizza in Northern CA. The only place that even comes close is in my hometown of San Francisco, but save yourself the drive and bridge toll and check out La Porta. Chef Juan and the staff were amazing E le pizze E le insalati sono eccelenti!

Had a great time at this new restaurant tonight! Great atmosphere, 10/10 Quinoa salad and Pizza. I can't wait to go back to try more of their dishes. We found out they are waiting for their liquor license but their mocktails are great and they have Athletic Brewing beer options as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy ramp to the front door, no steps and large bathrooms.
We tried their salads, pizza, and a panini, everything tasted amazing! The Parma pizza is perfect, and they have a really good Caesar salad and quinoa salad. Their staff is so friendly, highly recommend checking this place out!

Without a doubt, the best pepperoni pizza I've ever had! The crust,pepperoni, sauce and cheese were in perfect harmony. The service was impeccable, fast and informative. The owner was charming and affable. The most comfortable chairs I had the pleasure of dinning in and the copper top tables made a wonderful impression. The ambiance was relaxing and there was no loud music to sully the experience. Will definitely return soon!

Yum! Tried the Detroit deep dish and the Toscana style pizzas. Both were very good, love the crispy cheesy sides of the Detroit. The homemade ranch is also very good (different style than normal). bar is not up and running yet, but dine in is still an option.
