Decor: During my visit there was an art show in progress that added to the "cool" vibe this sandwich shop offers. There is limited indoor and outdoor seating, but on a beautiful day you are just a stone throw away from the best parks Sacramento has to offer. Food: Bring your appetite (or a friend who likes to share) because these sandwiches are huge! Your choice of bread and plenty of sandwich options. Both hot and cold sandwiches are available. There are many flavors-something for everyone. Parking: Limited parking is available in this area, but it is walkable on a pleasant day. Uber is an option as are electric scooters, and other public transportation modes. The Sandwich Spot is very close to Sac City College so you get that youthful coolness vibe the area offers. Service: The staff is pleasant and enthusiastic to help you make a decision. Food is served up promptly. Tip generously.

I almost called your manager. Because someone just made me the best M effing sandwich I've had in a very long time. I got a pastrami on San Francisco sourdough with provolone and the works. I ordered it on DoorDash, which is always a crapshoot. It was perfection. I was tempted to call you guys and make it super weird but I'll just keep it on Yelp. Thank you to whoever made my sandwich. It was amazing. I highly recommend this Sandwich Spot to anybody looking for a great meal!

Just dropped in for lunch and after seeing the way the owner handled a situation urged me to leave a review. There was an issue with a homeless man who came in and didn't have enough to pay for his sandwich. The owner came out had a conversation with the man and from the looks of it, gifted him a sandwich free of charge. Seeing that this morning restored a little faith in humanity for me, will definitely be coming back to support these kind-hearted people. And the sandwich was awesome I forgot to take a pic!

I feel like I kinda sleep on sandwiches. I don't seek to pay for something I can make myself. But this one was comped by a friend so I got to try it. Usually am at 5 Sips next door if I come to this area. We're kinda budget strapped but I wanted to try the gourmet grilled cheese anyway. It's $10 and it's got hummus and bleu cheese and sundried tomatoes. I know they offer a few bread options but if you're getting anything but sourdough for grilled cheese you're just choosing to be irresponsible with your life. It was pretty tasty no lie. I wouldn't expect much from a sandwich shop and probably would never walk in here had someone not asked me to. But I'd come back. The menus way too big though. I don't know if it's an ADHD thing but I cannot decide when there's like 30 things to choose from. I feel like I am missing out no matter what I pick. I guess that's a good problem to have in this country. Outdoor bench seating and counters is nice if you happen to want to bring your doggo along which people do.

Great sandwich's and nice location. They are busy during lunch time I would recommend to order ahead and pick up. Many sandwiches to choose from.

Parking sucks! I'll start off with that. BUT The staff is always the best here! The sandwiches are HUGE and the quality of food is always A1. I go here too often during the spring/summer months.

They prepare the food with no gloves. I literally saw the person touch garbage and not wash hands then touch my food. It's such a small step to throw on a pair of gloves. When I asked about it he said "well don't order here then". The floor was filthy, just stuff everywhere. It didn't look like just a lunch rush kind of mess it looked like it had been there a while. The sandwiches are delicious, so good but I won't be coming back to this location due to lack of cleanliness.

Great sandwiches. Long menu. Lots of choices, hard to decide. Pick up a sandwich and have a picnic at the park in front of the store.
