Best time to come here is 11am-2pm Mon-Fri during their lunch hour. We got two orders of their Boudin Balls and they had two options Hot Cheeto and the Regular. The boudin balls were the best for first timers.
I have tried many bbq places here in sac but hands down Louisiana Heaven is my absolute favorite. We love the wings, ribs, gumbo, and especially the fried cabbage and hush puppies (not sold daily). The music, kool-aid/lemonade and vibe take you back to friendlier times! I consistently get friendly service (please bring cash to tip the servers!). It's in an accessible location right off 99. The food here was amazing. I will definitely be going back. I tried the ribs and macaroni and cheese. It was the best macaroni and cheese I've ever had from a restaurant, like homemade and delicious. I definitely will be trying everything on their menu first chance I get.The restaurant itself was spotless and comfortable. However, we did have to wait a bit on the long side for our food, but it was worth it in the end.
