This is the best breakfast place I’ve ever eaten at in my 33 years of life. I can’t comment on dinner or lunch items, because I’m always there for their breakfast, even in the evenings. The French toast is excellent and so is the sliced tritip sandwich. The fries are OK, and the coleslaw sucks. But. Excellent service every time, even when we showed up 30 minutes to closing.

They used to be good. The last two times we visited have been so disappointing. How do you make french toast TOUGH? Why is the bacon AND sausage in my meat lover's skillet like tiny salad topping dust bits and the cheese isn't even melted??? Why was the coffee just flavorless brown water? When a customer says the phrase "We should've just gone to Denny's" you know you're failing... Denny's should NEVER be preference. Denny's literally exists as a last resort for drunk people and it would've DOG WALKED the Lumberjack's we experienced the last two times we wanted breakfast outside of our own home...
Insanity for it being so packed. Great food, but the wait time can be extremely excessive on a Saturday at 1030am. It's a double sided sword that's because it's so yummy and because the venue is too small and not enough staff... I love this place I just can't stand the long wait times. Only go early morning during the week... Weekends there's always extreme wait times...

If you have more than 3 people forget it. We waited 50 mins when they continued to seat others, stating they had a reservation. Web site says no reserv. RUN. We will never go back. Also, added the tip automatcally.
Don't tell your customers that It's going to be 15 to 20 minutes and the turn around and tell them another 20 minutes but continue to seat people that are walk in.
