If you want canned food and frozen pre packaged meals, you found your spot. This place is just not what it used to be… there was a legacy prior to this new ownership and it’s gone down the drain. Please be ready to find yourself waiting an extremely long time for even a basic meal. The desserts seem to be kept in the freezer and made with nothing but sugar. I came in with a few friends a few weeks ago and was recently asked to return for Sunday brunch…. No thank you. I’d rather eat at Denny’s over this place any day! Nothing like being greeted at the door with a cold shoulder and RB face. Do me a favor, shut this place down and bring the old owners or actual professionals in to take over! -Rob

Maggie was very easy to work with. We had a Buffet for about 25 people and everybody just raved about it. The chicken was probably the best chicken I’ve ever had. Great sauce and the tenderness was perfect. The tri-tip was phenomenal. The mac & cheese was great. All the other go with were wonderful. The decorations for our event were perfect. We had cupcakes made for dessert. Very ingenious cupcakes with filling in the middle. The help was tremendous. You should consider Maggie’s Table for just about any meal or Event!!!!

Ono Grindz at Maggie's Table Today's kau kau menu included Hawaiian food like Lau Lau plate and Kalua Pig plate. I chose the Teriyaki Chicken Plate (teri chicken, mac salad, rice, chicken long rice or pansit bihon). Everything was onolicious! That Hawaiian mac salad was so yummy! For dessert I had chocolate cupcake topped with an old-fashioned vanilla buttercream. Hubby does not tend to eat cupcakes because of its sweetness but this chocolate flavored cupcake was so delicious and not sweet at all. For someone who's not a fan of cupcakes he ate half of it. The dining room is spacious and looks like a banquet hall. The round tables can seat 6-8 people. There are very little small tables or table for two. I suppose it can be rented as an event center - business meetings, luncheons, or fundraising events. Perfect for milestone events like weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, etc. There is an outdoor covered patio. The surroundings are filled with lush greenery and outdoor pottery decor of all sorts. So tranquil and pretty. This was my first time at Maggie's Table at Casa Garden. I was invited by Antee Ronnie, Elite Yelper and wife of Unko Marcos of the Island Sunset Band (uncle, auntie) On the mainland, these terms refer to our parents' brother or sister but, in Hawaii, it's a pidgin phrase to show respect. In Hawaii everyone's either your Ant-tee or Unko... like one big Ohana LoL! Maggie recently opened Maggie's Table at Casa Garden on the grounds of the Sacramento Children's Home. Give this new restaurant a try. We had lunch there this past week, and both our entrees were plentiful with fresh ingredients and flavorful. Service was prompt and friendly. Will definitely return! The outdoor garden needs some work but I'm certain in time will be lovely. Shady outdoor and plenty of indoor dining space.
Beautiful, peaceful, delicious dining experience, a rare finding amid the hectic city/college campus atmosphere. Maggie's Table at Casa Garden has a "tricky" entrance, if you miss the right turn off Sutterville Road into the parking lot in front of the cafe, just head down to CVS on the corner and turn into that parking lot. Follow the back parking lot to the back of Casa Garden and you will reach Maggie's Table! May 20, 2022 was the first Kanikapila event with a special Hawaiian menu (everything chef Maggie prepares is excellent!-yes she does ALL kinds of food!!) and was packed inside and out with multiple musicians playing in three different areas! The next Aloha Friday event will be held Friday, June 17 from 5:30 pm till closing! Check the website for details!

This is truly a hidden gem in Sacramento. Had a wonderful lunch there today with my husband. We sat inside with a beautiful view of the outside dining and flowering trees, shrubs, and plants. Service was unparalleled and I am going to give a shout out for the amazing bruschetta and wait for it....fries! All of this for reasonable pricing. Do yourself a favor and try them for lunch or brunch! Wine and beer are available too.

Great new operator and menu. Gardens are beautiful, interior is fresh, and patio is tranquil. We had a pastrami sandwich, steak sandwich, and Italian chopped salad and all were tremendous. Very good value as well. Fun to have the space re-energized.

This place is a lovely setting for a meal. We had the shrimp pasta which was delicious. I want to go back to try a sandwich or salad next time. Maybe try their Sunday brunch too. Highly recommend it.
