Perfect flat white oatmilk, tasteful strawberry macha, unfortunately no smoothies, nice guy, good vibe.

They have one of the best if not the best avocado toast!! Something they do omg it’s avocado toast but wayyyyy elevated. Depending on the season, the garnish and sauces get changed up. So it never gets boring! But always delicious!!Sometimes I get it with a 6-minute egg that’s perfectly jammy to go with the toast. Sometimes I get some soft scramble on the side. And sometimes just avocado toast. You can’t go wrong any of these ways. The drinks are amazing too! I’ve tried their cold brew, matcha latte and regular latte. They roast their coffee at the other location and they know their stuff. I keeping going back to the latte cuz it’s just perfectly balanced. Deep, smooth, a little nutty, uh so good!!Service is always attentive and friendly. Baristas are so good at their crafts and they also give good recommendations when I hesitate. The location is cozy but can get a little packed depending on when you go. In the morning it can be hard to find a table to work. But later in the morning it gets less crowded.I love the decor and the vibes there. Good place to grab coffee and breakfast!!

The drink is tasty. The atmosphere inside is of sterile as in not much character. The outside tables and brick exterior do not match the inside. The service is terrible as they do not know how to interact with a Deaf person. The staff at cashier kept talking to me after I signed to them to show I am Deaf. Then The service staff at the cashier did not know how to respond when I asked them to write it down. They froze and looked at the nearby manager for help. That doesn’t make me feel welcomed.Parking: No accessible parking. It’s street parking on 17th street. I would say around 10 cars on street parking and 8 cars inside lot behind the cafe.

Dont get me wrong, the food was amazing, and the coffee was great. The service was AI-like. Lined up, got to cashier and said Hi, brunette lady aint even say a word back just stared at me and my husband Franklin ?. Sat down and a different party of 3 said “thank yall for having us, cya” and no response from the workers. The customer looked so clueless, poor dude aint even get a response either ☠️. BUT GOOD THING they had this sign that said “THANKS FOR VISITING”, they just need one that says “HELLO” at the front door ?

Seeked this coffee shop out because the place looked big. And it's true, they have a big space with plenty of tables and chairs, and an outside patio area. It was my first time & once I walked in I looked for the menu. Didn't realize it's right at the register. I'm the type of person that wants to make my choice prior to getting in line. But the menu isn't that big anyway. I know I asked for my drink for here, but they made it to-go. Also the cashier looked stressed and didn't really greet anyone and wasn't really helpful. Anyways, the Matcha latte was good, not the best, but still good.

I would angry with myself if I didn't post a review. I visited here for the first time this afternoon and it was such a treat. The vibes were nice and cozy. The barista was a certified pro. I asked for a Cortado and bro hooked it all the way up. I'm a sucker for detail and he really went the extra mile. It tasted amazing. I even sent a pic to my co-workers in our Coffee Slack channel, they sent props to the Barista as well. I'll start to frequent this spot when I'm in East Sac. It's also nice that it's across from Queen Sheba Ethiopian, this little area is becoming a hot spot for me. Cheers.

Looking to try a new coffee shop that I had never been to before, I found my way to Mast coffee off Broadway. It was a cloudy and overcast Friday morning, but the coffee shop was packed! Parking can be a little tricky as it is mostly street, although they do have a tiny lot to the left of their building. The shop was full of what appeared to be lots of work from home and remote workers. Pretty much everyone had their beverage of choice and their laptop out. I was taking my coffee order to go so I didn't need a place to stay but finding a spot would have been difficult. They do offer both indoor and outdoor seating, but, like I said, most of it was already occupied. I placed my order for a cold brew. I decided to try it with some of their house made syrup, and a splash of oat milk. The coffee was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend trying one of their house made syrups. It wasn't overly sweet and it really accentuated the flavor of the coffee. Definitely worth a visit to this coffee shop if you have never been before.

Such a hidden gem Super cute inside of the shop and they have work space available to rent for meetings or personal study sessions I recommend!

I have tried this spot a couple of times, and went for my go-to espresso drink, iced mocha. The espresso was good but the drink would have been much better without so much milk and a bit more ice. The milk volume over diluted the flavor of the espresso a bit more than what I'd prefer. The beans are great, I purchased them for home use and would return to buy beans.

Me (and my hot take): latte art is overrated. Me after having a mocha here: okay okay I'm starting to be a believer! :X Maybe I'm just annoyingly hard to please when it comes to latte art, but I was actually in real joy when the barista presented the hot mocha to me. So gorgeous!! The drink was also filled to the brim and had a noticeable slight thickness to it. Very creamy. Usually I prefer my mochas to be more rich in chocolate flavor, but I still enjoyed the perfect soothing balance of chocolate and coffee taste. Major props to the barista! I also got in-house roasted suite 7 blend coffee beans to take home. Pretty smooth in taste. Definitely agree on the graham cracker flavor note. It does have a slight fruity taste so also recommend if you want to delve into that realm of coffee tasting. Sooo why only 4 stars? Wasn't fully on board with the breakfast tartine. It was overwhelmingly garlicky, so much that I had garlic mouth even a couple of hours after eating it lol. Probably suitable only for the garlic fanatics out there. Parking is a bit dicey here. Had to drive a couple of laps until I found parking on the street.
