Food was good as always, fresh and hot. Service was fast and friendly. We dined in, it was a little warm for me inside and the seating is cramped but over all very pleased.

The place is immaculately clean but sadly the food was way over priced for the quality. I was drawn by the four star ratings which turned out to be way off. The rice should be fluffier (not dry), the katsu was limp, and the sauce was way too salty and caters to an Americanized version of teriyaki that is dreadful. If you like just pouring old soy sauce on rice maybe this is the place for you. Note: The menu lists plates and yelp shows square plates but the food will be served in bowls. They could do so much better just making a simple katsudon or oyakodon. The red flag was finding the place empty at dinner time.

The sesame chicken bowl was solid.

Amazing food!! We've gone here for years on years on years!! I'm NEVER EVER disappointed with the food. Ever!! The couple that owns and works here makes the food with so much love you can taste it. It is a tiny bit pricey for some I hear, I don't really think so but the food has always been so worth it. The couple that runs this place are always so kind and willing to help you understand any item on the menu. I absolutely love coming here and will continue to be w customer as long as they're open.

This placed charged me $31 for a small bowl a regular plated. Way more then whats priced on their menu. When I asked her about it, she said these are the new prices. I would have no problem paying it if it I knew that's how much it was before I ordered. What is the point of a menu if your prices are whatever you feel like charging that day??

It was tasty, typical fish and chips. The biggest thing is that they're reliable.

New Year's day, so places were closed. Passing through town and had a hankering for teriyaki and found this place open. Dumpy building with no cars out front... Uh oh. Not looking good. The inside looks like an old, run down, fast food hamburger joint, so no surprise when they have burgers on the menu. Also fish and chips and other fried seafood. Other half of the menu is various teriyaki choices. I ordered 2 teriyaki chicken bowls to go. $12 each. The food arrived very fast (I was the only customer), so I paid and left. Upon arriving hone, gave one to my wife. She says the flavor was good, not great. To me, the bowl had lots of potential. Serving size was good. However the chicken was cheap thigh meat and kinda mushy. The teriyaki sauce tasted like it was a cheap brand from a jar. Heavy soy sauce and thin. I'm giving 2 stars because I did eat the whole thing and was full, but I'll not go back. There must be better options out there!

Like many stated in the previous comments this building isn't very inviting, and the tables and chairs are outdated I work in the freeport area every Friday and would drive pass this restaurant every week and finally decided to give it s try. I support local mom and pop restaurants. the gentleman at the front i assume is the owner and he was really nice. The food was flavorful and good portion size as well.

Terrible cold fries and fish is not freshly fried. Gave me a stomachache. Trying to support local businesses but this was a bad idea!

Ordered the sesame chicken per other reviews' recommendations. The chicken is decent, but the sauce is far too salty. The cashier is nice, but the restaurant was nearly empty the entire time, and the decor is rather bleak. I won't be coming back, but if you just want a quick meal, it's not a terrible option.

Sesame chicken combo and pot stickers are so good. The couple that owns this place is so nice and sweet. Family business with consistent food. I've been going there for years when I'm in the area.

Coming out of Texas I truly just wanted something to eat and saw it from the freeway. Overall it was amazing! Got my food quickly and correctly and the portions are pretty good. When I visit Sacramento again this will be my go-to place. Thank you!!

This was my first time I went here after passing it for years. The place was empty when we went in so it was quick service! The portions of the plate were sizable and was exactly what I was craving! I would just say that as a personal preference I don't like my rice with a lot of sauce so next time i'll just order my sauce on the side. This is my new go to spot if I'm in the area and need a filling lunch!

Quick and easy teriyaki bowl place. I had decent service with a good size portion of spicy teriyaki beef bowl. The restaurant was nice and clean. The staff were very friendly.
