I ordered the beef with broccoli and it was terrible. It was all broccoli and barely any beef. Also, the portion size was very small and it did not come with rice.

Prices are ok. Food is ok.....nothing spectacular. Ordered broccoli beef and chow mein. Chow mein comes as either chicken or pork. Asked for veg chow mein and told a $1 upcharge because it is a substitution, evem though it costs less to provide the veg, than it did the meat. Felt more like they already had chicken or pork chow mein ready........as the food was ready in less than 10 minutes and the broccoli was quite soft. Not a bad meal, not great either. Everything was just "ok".

Great meal prices. Generous portions for family sharing. Take out review: I have never had orange chicken the way they make it here. It was a highlight among the dinner table. Salted fried fish - BOMB! Think about fried calamari but make it fish with a more airy puff. Yum. Definitely a great meal to enjoy fresh. Mapo Tofu - something is missing but i cannot figure it out. Green beans - Yum! Oily but great to pair with the heavy meals. Beef Chow Mein - hit the spot.

We ordered the General chicken and the Tangarine chicken to go. I believe they served us 2 orders of the General chicken because they both looked and tasted the same. The food was below mediocre. They're so cheap they packaged all four styrofoam to go packages (1 rice, 1 chow main, 2 Gen chik) all in one bag. They packaged the Gen chick on top which made the bag super top heavy so it fell over and all the sauce spilled out. The person that handed us the food was very unfriendly and spaced out. Even the Chinese mustard was watered down. Crap service, crap food. Very disappointed.

This cozy restaurant has left the best mouth watering house soup. Delicious dishes. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Elk Grove.

Bought some egg rolls and they were old! You could tell, they must have been sitting out for a day. The cabbage and inside contents just tasted terribly, made me throw up! So disappointed, I have been a customer of this place for years. They are the only restaurant in Elk Grove that has pork egg rolls so I would order from here at least twice a month. Spending $65-$70 each visit. My family usually gets the Chicken Chow Mien, Shrimp Fried Rice, Dry Braised Chicken, and Pork Egg Rolls. I will not support any longer. I can’t believe they sold me stale and days old egg rolls. Do not sell old egg rolls, that’s just lazy! This place has lost a loyal customer.
