Pamir Market just opened and they are still working on getting their fresh meat and vegetable sections set up, but they already have some packaged foods from Afghanistan and the Middle East, as well as some delicious fresh Afghani bread made on the premises! I'm excited to see their progress and happy to have such a place in the neighborhood!

I smelled fresh bread when I walked by. I went in and asked the nice fellow behind the counter, “I smell bread. Is it here?” He yells to another guy to get me bread, and out from a tiny bakery tucked in the back of the store comes this HUGE round shirmal, shiny and still hot. I didn’t even ask the price. Turns out it was $1.99. Check out this place for a very cool experience.
