The food is always good. One of the ladies inside can be a little rude but not too bad.

I will most likely change my star rating next time I go.I got the teriyaki chicken and tempura box.Teriyaki chicken just didnt have enough flavor for me. BUT the tempura was amazing!! The asparagus tempura was so so tummy. But so was the broccoli, shrimp and sweet potatoe!!They were serving the sizzling bibimbab plates that smelt amazing!! Cant wait to go back! Service was friendly and quick! I love how busy they were!! Great local spot

Food was good enough but since there was only one person attending tables and in charge of register it took a while for food to be served, even tho place was not very full (only big party as us was a group of ladies that were done when we arrived but overstayed chatting, the other 3 tables were of 2 person seated and their food was already served), it was 7 on our table and we got 5 forks and 4 napkins, we asked for chopsticks instead but they only gave us 4 so, some of us got to use forks and the rest used chopsticks but we had to go get more napkins from upfront (they sat us in the back room) , also one of the tea cups was dirty inside. The friends we were with, told us it used to be an excellent service and the food was delicious but this time was just OK for them, food portions and price were reasonable but since I was really hungry my plate felt good to me but not to them who already knew the place. Hope they manage to get more employees to recuperate their prestige.

I've been going here for about 20 years now and have never been disappointed. I absolutely recommend the sesame chicken. Also, they have the best teriyaki sauce around, which they sell in case you want to take some home with you.

my first time ordering food here and everything I wanted they didn't have for whatever reason.. I couldn't understand what the hostess was saying.. in any case I had to settle for teriyaki chicken and not the popcorn chicken I wanted.. needless to say it was pretty good and I will be going back and see if I can get the popcorn chicken..

Five stars for this modest neighborhood spot based on the Korean menu items and the friendliness of the staff. I don't really order the Japanese menu items, it's not that they're bad (I steal some tempura when someone else orders it, as any good friend would) but I just agree with the other review that said the Korean items are more of a stand out. Then again maybe I just like them more than I like teriyaki. And who can say where the line is drawn, anyway? Not me.I usually get the bibimbap, spicy, with whatever protein I'm feeling that day. Big portion, I think it's still good value for the price even now that food has gotten so expensive. Some places will serve you a bibimbap that's mostly rice, which is cheaper than produce - not here. I think the balance of rice to everything else is just right. The staff speak English with a fairly strong accent but despite this I can only remember one time that I got the wrong item, and it turned out to be my fault, because I literally said "bulgogi" when I meant to say "bibimbap." Womp womp! I still ate it and enjoyed it!Despite how small the place looks, there is a back room with extra dining space past the counter. I'm not sure if it's reservation only but sometimes when I have come in I've seen larger groups back there having a good time.

My tempura shrimp and tempura broccoli were cold and gooshy on theinside. And, sometimes order is wrong. But their food is great anyways!

Nice surprise from this hideaway restaurant. The food was tasty, inside was roomy, and the service was great. I will go back soon.
