Truly amazing food, people and experience. Outside was breathtaking and the drinks, perfect. The service has been lackluster lately...

Elliot was our waiter. He was excellent. The Seafood Tower had everything. It was our first time. We will be back.

Wish that my server checked on us especially in a nice restaurant. The food and drinks just got dropped off and we were left on our own until we were done with lunch. Felt like we were ignored and I don’t know why I still tipped them 20%. However, I will not return though. Servers expect good tips however they should earn it. Sad experience.

Of course this restaurant specializes in seafood and as a flexitarian, I still didn't find many appealing stand alone options. However, I did piece together the most delicious plate. I went with the barley risotto, roasted carrots and brussel spouts. We arrived at around 7:45 and it was not crowded. We opted to sit at the bar because the hostest was nowhere to be found. So glad we did, because we had the greatest time at that bar! The Jalapeño margaritas are amazing!!! I only had one and my palate was so pleased! Amazing service, wonderful ambience and the views!!! Looking out at the river was so peaceful. I will definitely be back!Update:Service has slowly gotten so bad.

I had the mac nut crusted halibut and my husband had the salmon. Both were very good. The calamari is excellent. The bartender made me a chocolate espresso martini that was yummy. I do wish I had the Boston Clam chowder and a salad. I would have been less full. As it was I could not finish the sides to the halibut and my husband could not eat the rice. A lot of food.

We have dined here multiple times over the years. The food and service are usually average but it's decent for something outside of downtown. My most recent visit was just super slow service. I'm not sure why but it was exhaustingly slow. I won't be back. They have declined.

Service was so nice and quick. The ambiance is always nice. They have the best Espresso martini's around and the oysters were nice and fresh!

Scott's on the River is getting tired. The menu barely changes. What they offer is fine, but no longer special. It's getting to be just a neighborhood place, not a nice night out. The Scott's in Folsom has a menu and chef that eclipse this one.

Alana was our server last night (3/30/2024) she was a pleasure to have her attentiveness with my party of 4. She was never too far to ask a question or add to my drink and food orders. I hope to see her again very soon.

One of the best buffet brunch experiences ever! All food was temperature hot and absolutely delicious. The cold seafood entrees were top notch h and included large peel and eat prawns, crab legs and even oysters on the half shell. Carving station offered ham and prime rib. Desserts were all mouth watering delicious. Service was excellent. I will do this every year if it continues. Just fantastic. It was $85 per person but so worth it.

For 85.00/person, I expect better selection and preparation of food. Food was mediocre at best. Oysters were not fresh. Food in warmers, did not look appealing. Our waitress was wonderful!

Went to Easter Brunch, cost $ 85.00 per person, Called ahead, they guaranteed they would have prime rib. very disappointed because there was no more Prime Rib ready to be served. This buffet was a ripoff. I will never go to a buffet at Scott's again. Should have went to the Saint Francis in Sf and received a view and only paid $ 69.00'for buffet;

Worst meal I've had in a long time. Salmon was so dry I had to get some sauce to put on it just to try and eat it. While I waited ten minutes for my server to bring me said sauce my food got cold. Couldn't even finish it. The kicker is, guests beware. They have their back parking lot closed so you HAVE to valet for $8. Mind you if you close the lot the valet there should not be a charge. There were two of us in separate cars so we had to pay $16 on top of a terrible meal. Scotts you just lost my business for good.

My husband and I made reservations for Scott's Seafood on the River's Easter Brunch celebration on March 31st. We had a noon reservation and got seated at about 12:30 pm. Due to work with the levy behind the hotel/restaurant, the only option was valet parking which was backed up when we arrived. We did drop off our car in time for our reservation. Scott's was busy! The buffet included a hot station, a cold station, and a desert station. There was also a carving station (prime rib and ham). The omelet station was the one thing that was missing, which was advertised on their Easter Brunch menu. The seafood was replenished frequently. My husband loved the crab and shrimp and got more than his fill of these two items. Many people were there for the oysters and Scott's seemed to have an endless supply. Some of the food looked like it had been sitting for a while or looked like it had been picked over. Scott's did a great job of refreshing those dishes and people seemed to be happy. The Easter Brunch did include all-you-can-drink coffee, soda, and mimosas. I had my fair share of mimosas! They were fresh and strong! Overall, the food was plentiful. The food was fresh. Outside of the seafood, I don't know that it was worth the $85 price tag for me since I don't like seafood. The buffet did have your traditional brunch items like eggs, benedict, french toast, pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. and they were all delicious. I enjoyed the spring salad and fresh fruits and cheeses. I don't know that we would go back for one of their special buffets, given its price point. We would, however, definitely come back for a regular a la carte dinner!
