I drove past this place so many times. I finally had time to stop an check it out. I ordered the tuna melt an a chocolate covered strawberry parfait! LET ME TELL YOU! One bite of that parfait an I felt my soul melt in my seat an my spirt lift from how good this dessert was. I can not believe how good it was. I do not know how they were not sold out of this dessert! The tuna melt an fries were SO fresh! I highly recommend trying this place. An Please for the love of food!! Get a parfait! You will NOT be disappointed! Would have added a photo but I ate it all lol the people here were so nice as well!

The food is soooo good and at a reasonable price for what they offer. The staff there are insanely nice and make sure everything you ordered is presentable and made to the best standards. The atmosphere is so lively when it gets busy or you can go duing the slower hours and it's a nice little Cafe to do school qork in or just read a book. 100/10 you must go and see for yourself. Parking is bad and it can be really frenetic there. The food is quite good but has gotten significantly more expensive, maybe not quite so worth it anymore.

GREAT JOB! YOU DID IT AGAIN! JUST PERFECT! I visited Selland's H Street the day after the big storm that caused so much damage in the Sacramento Valley. I drove up and I saw that their covered outdoor patio had been severely damaged from the storms along with many of their outdoor heaters damaged as well but when I walked in to look at the menu to order it was business as usual and business as usual at this restaurant has always been AMAZING! I can only guess that the owners and employees were challenged with the impact the storm had on their location but they didn't miss a beat!!! Each person I interacted with was kind, courteous, thoughtful in assisting me to make choices off the menu and all-in-all everyone and the delicious entrées...all 3 of them...mushroom bisque soup, the Power Ceasar salad, and the S'mores cookie get 5 stars! Out of all the many visits I've had at this restaurant with family and friends over the last 2 decades I'd have to say this was the best. I felt like I was at home with friends who wanted me to just have a great time! Thank you to the owners, staff, and alike! You all made my late afternoon splurge a joy!

Selland's is always a solid choice. During this visit, none of the hot food was available so we ordered a turkey with avocado on wheat, a side of chili, and a hamburger with fries. The burger was on a light brioche bun and everything was fresh. I highly recommend their lemonade.

Selland's is what of my favs if I have a lunch meeting in Sacramento. Food is quality, great selection of beverages and atmosphere is perfect. Last time I was there I could not order until I got to register. I feel like in the past I was able to put in my food before and then just order drinks and pay for everything at the register. No big deal. It will not stop me from going again but I did like the original set up.
