My best friend and I met up here for an early dinner last week and everything we tried was super fresh and flavorful. We had never tried this particular cuisine before, so our waitress gave us some suggestions. We ended up with the Spicy Garlic Prawns, Kimchi Fried Rice and Potstickers. Banchan were served before our entrees and gave us a chance to try new flavors. My baby niece enjoyed it all. Nothing was too spicy or overpowering for her, but at the same time nothing was skimping on flavor.

My boyfriend and I went in at lunchtime and the place was pretty empty, maybe 3 other tables with patrons. I asked for a menu to peruse and then we sat down. The bartender, Michelle, came and explained the menu which was great. But our actual server never came to take our order. We waited for 10-15 minutes, and watched as our server took the orders of new customers that walked in AFTER us. Still no service, so we left and won't be returning.

Had the spicy chicken sandwich lunch special and kimchi fried rice. The sandwich was paired with fries, not as spicy as I would like but very tasty! The kimchi fried rice was set on some corn cheese, the sweet, and cheesy, and rice flavor was very interesting and delicious!

This was an amazing experience. The food was beyond expectation and the presentation was first class. We had the bulgogi tacos and beef along with the pork belly and lycheetinis. All I can say it was all unbelievable!! The spices, the combinations of ingredients by the chef, were mouth-watering. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other dishes. Whoever the chef is, he has taken this place above and beyond. Give yourself a treat and check it out.

Impressive atmosphere, food was okay at best. Avoid the corn cheese, It didn't even have the cheese pull... The shrimp and bulgogi, however, were done well.No comments on the food pricing as its understandable per the type of venue.Subpar service. Banchan was never delivered, and the server didn't bother to check to refill on waters, let alone how the table was doing. The hostess was kind enough to relay complaints to the manager, which addressed some of these concerns. The final thing to mention is that while our table wasn't being tended to, we can notice a crowd of staff at the end of the bar, idle. The overall dining experience was more of here are your drinks, 3/4th of your food, and you can screw off.Hopefully, this is just a one-off experience, and it's better next time I visit. Though, I doubt I'll come back.

It was a bit disappointing. The Korean hot chicken was dry and didn't have much heat. Chili pork skillet wasn't spicy, but it was overly sweet and the dish was room temperature at most. Kimchi fried rice was also just too sweet, kimchi fried rice should be more savory than sweet. The highlight would be the calamari, it was well flavored and crispy.

Service was great and friendly. Came by multiple times to check on us. We ordered 4 items from happy hour, and 5 entrees. The soso fries were great- the fries nice and crispy. Calamari was good too- liked the sauce. Garlic soy chicken wings were flavorful. I liked the pork wrap (bosum) more than I thought I would. Bulgogi was honestly probably the most disappointing item (if I had to choose 1). It was just not super flavorful. Not the normal marinated flavor. Chili pork was pretty normal spicy pork. Galbi jjim was good too. Tender and has carrots and potatoes. Kimchi fried rice was good and basically on top of a bed of cheese corn. All the hot skillets came with free refills on the bonchon! Warning the hot skillets do not come with rice so u gotta add that ($3.49/bowl). I will say the portions off the kimchi fried rice and galbi jjim appeared to be pretty small. Like u would definitely need something to supplement it probably. Parking is street parking so could be a bit difficult on a weekday. They have reservations by phone if you have a group large enough.. also there's a 20% gratuity for groups of 7 or more. And $20 corkage fee if you bring your own drinks, and also $20 fee if you bring your own dessert.

I loved the food and drinks, I was a little disappointed that bibimbap bowls seemed to be only available at lunch. We sat at the bar and the staff was patient as we looked through the menu and helpful answering questions as we ordered. The staff was nice, the restaurant was clean, and the ambiance was great.

Its more of a Korean fusion food. They could have used better quality of beef. The kimchi fried rice is decent. The service is great.

Menu highlights Korean flavors complemented with a variety of different tasty encasements. They forgot our fried chicken and our drink order took forever but it’s definitely worth a try.

Such a cute place right in the heart of downtown Sacramento. Food was great and our server was helping in answering all of our questions regarding the menu (first timers) we were seated & greeted quickly. Would recommend this place and we would love to explore more of the menu.

First time trying Seoul St Midtown and it did not disappoint!! We started with a few cocktails and beers which were reasonably priced and delicious. Our favorite appetizers were the Soso fries and the Korean hot chicken. The chicken was so crispy and the meat on the soso fries was incredible. For entrees we shared the Galbi Jjim and Kimchi fried rice. This was my favorite dish. It was so creamy and flavorful. All the dishes were shareable style which we love. Allows everyone to have a little bit of everything. The restaurant is super cute inside with a little bit outdoor seating and the servers were all very accommodating and kind!! Can't wait to come back!

Food: 4.5 micsGalbi was sweet and savory. Japjae was salty but not too bad. Kim chee fried rice was delicious and the cheese corn was delectable. The sides were pretty decent. Service: 3 micsThe service was okay. We saw the server in the beginning when she took our order and maybe once after we got the food but there was no consistency in checking in on our table. We had to wait for the check. The restaurant was not busy with maybe 7 tabletops. Ambiance: 4.5 micsAmbiance is very modern with street art covering the walls. (My kinda vibe) pretty clean. If you don't know, this place took over Devere's. The set up is more open than devere's was but pretty much the same layout. I would return and check it out again. If you're in the area, stop in and try the Galbi and Kim Chee Fried Rice.
