Decided to try this spot because I was craving spicy and tofu. I was on my vegetarian hype. I ordered the Sizzling tofu and eggplant ? (SPICY)...PAID $20 and waited about 4m to get my to-go box. Upon opening it at home, I noticed that it was leaking juice although it was double bagged. Anyway, I gave it a plate from the house. Food was mediocre to say the least. A box full of juice with tofu thrown in and a shot of eggplant. So, the eggplant was non -existant...and for the few pieces of eggplant they were mushy. Nothing Sizzling but my disappointment and nothing SPICY at all. Spice was hidden with all the sauce...In addition, I would prefer that my entree come with some Rice for $20 if you're going give all that sauce. In conclusion, the aptomsphere was boring and barely any customers. Outdated and boring. It's not for me but try it yourself...it's a HARD pass for me...Parking: Horrible

Discriminatory Experience at Spicy Dragon on My Birthday I was denied entry to Spicy Dragon on my birthday, 50 minutes before closing time, despite the restaurant being full of customers and the open sign still on. The staff's refusal to serve us was both baffling and disappointing. It seemed that the only apparent reason for being turned away was that our appearance was different from everyone else's in the establishment. This discriminatory behavior is something to bear in mind when looking for a last-minute bite to eat. I would advise others to reconsider dining at Spicy Dragon due to their lack of consideration for customers, especially on special occasions.

Good experience overall, but dishes were a bit salty. Price was higher than expected

Customer service: Okay, no dedicated waiter -Food quality: Chow mein was , Kiss of Fire orange chicken's fire was extinguished because it was too sweet and lacking in crunch, Chinese sausage was -Bang for your buck: reasonable -Would I return? If I'm in the area

It was my first time to eat there last night. I personally think it is one of the most delicious Chinese restaurants in the Sanmantou area. The service is also very good. I will go there again! recommend!

Having been introduced to regional Chinese cuisine living in Beijing then seeing it slowly migrate over to the states in the 2010s, Im glad this restaurant exists and represents that cuisine well. They have all the classics, cumin lamb, mapo tofu, sour spicy shredded potatoes, twice cooked pork and so on! I look forward to go back and try their lamb skewers and I think Ive finally found my go to non Cantonese Chinese Restaurant in Sac.

Went for lunch. Nothing special. The broth/base of the noodles had almost ZERO flavor. It was like eating noodles in hot water. There was nothing at the table to help the bowls i.e. Oyster Sauce, Chile paste, Sriracha, chili oil. They do hold true to their name SPICY. The heat was there!!I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Grabbed take out from here on my way home from work one day because the menu looked good and spicy. Was not disappointed! Everything I ordered was delicious! I ordered the Sautéed Napa Cabbage with Hunan Spicy Beans, Fried Potato Slices with Mixed Chili's (vegetarian dish), Ma Po Tofu with Ground Pork, Fried Pork Rinds with Diced Jalepenos, and the Shrimp Chow Mein.Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian options, and they are clearly labeled. Not sure if any other dishes could be made vegetarian or not.

Will 100% be back here for the very worth it portion sizes and flavor. The chicken was soft, perfectly fried and spicy and salty all at the same time. Definitely be careful because sichuan food doesn't skimp on the spice level!! The noodles were perfect and I feel like i would love to come back for them if I were sick or needed something warm and filling. And lamb skewers were also super tasty! All in all super authentic Chinese sichuan food and will be coming back. Very reasonable prices too!

If you like spicy, this is the place. The Cumin Lamb was fragrant and delicious, as was the Spicy Mapu Tofu. The dishes are strong enough that you might want to balance the flavor profile with some milder entrees. My wife added the Chicken Chow Mien to our order. Honey Walnut Prawns would also be another good contrast to the numbing seasonings. The night we ate, there was a kitchen drain back up that flooded the kitchen and its entrance from the dining room. I realize that this might be beyond the control of the restaurant unless they are not cleaning out the grease traps on a regular basis. More concerning was the cleanliness of the bathrooms especially the mens. The uninal was non-functioning and covered in plastic which meant that it must have been that way for a while. The bathroom sink was also not draining well. The bathrooms, and the restaurant itself may be due for some deep cleaning on a more regular basis. The background pop music was also a bit too loud. With a better attention to hygiene and kitchen conditions, Spicy Dragon would earn a 5 star rating from me. The food is that good!

I came to there restaurant at 9 pm and they said they was closed, however on there website they say they open until 930, they told me they decided to close early, I was very frustrated due to the fact they saw me and decided to hit the close light on, never going to this place
