THE BEST SUBS IN TOWN. DONT WALK, RUN TO THIS PLACE. 100% Halal ❤️ The owner was so nice. He made a Steak and Cheese and Hot Pastrami. It was heavenly. The prices are very affordable. 5 Stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Edit: This is our first time coming to this sandwich shop. I'm not lying and I am not exaggerating, if I liked what I ate, trust me I will post great things about it too. I'm not personally attacking the owners, rather I am sharing what I have experienced. The whole point of an honest review is to give honest feedback, and it may not be everything was perfect. Like I said below, I truly wish more and more Muslim Owned and Halal-food restaurants measure up and compete for great quality like their counterparts. We always try our best to support our small business owners especially Muslim Owned, but we as customers also expect top quality service.Nice and polite folks at the counter. Unfortunately, the sandwiches are just not there. Honest opinion, everyone in the Halal community foodies would love to see halal food that's not just Mediterranean, and that's why we wanted to try this place, because it offers Halal subs which is rare here in Sacramento area if found at all. However, I really think the owners should re-evaluate their menu and master their sandwich (sub, philly steak, etc) making skills. I guarantee they'll be better than Beach Hut deli.- The service was slow, not sure if they're still training, but we ordered 5 hot steak and cheese subs, and it took 30 minutes (we were the only customers there) and then we got cold subs, when we asked why it was not hot, they said because we put lettuce and tomato and that makes it cold, but the bread was cold?Another 15-mins for 1 order of eggs and bacon.- Focus on quality not quantity, I don't need chicken curry and rice served at a deli sandwich shop. We can go to different curry places for that type of food. Focus on subs, we don't have this around here, and we need it especially halal.- Ambience: only 2 lights were turned on in the restaurant, decorations were sandwich posters plastered all over the windows covering them. A/C was turned on, TV was turned off.Last but not least, please visit other sandwich shops and see what makes them good and appealing and I prove on it for your restaurant. Hopefully the owners don't take these pointers defensively, because I really would love to see this business succeed.Dietary restrictions: Halal meat served.

Hadn't been here in a while, but apparently the ownership had changed. Definitely not the sandwich place I remember. Nice people, but the sandwich needed some work. Had the pastrami - covered in tons of oil and had a smell to it that didn't smell like pastrami. The bread used to be heated..not any more. Lettuce and tomatoes tasted fine, but I had to remove the pastrami as I didn't want to risk it.

The place had a large variety, good food, and good portion sizes.

Decent sandwich! A foot long BBQ chicken for $11ish. Bummer they charge extra to pay with card.

Before I begin let me just say 4 to 5 star easily if this depended on the customer service, cleanliness and quantity of food to price. Where the wheels fell off the wagon is perhaps the item I ordered. I ordered the hot pastrami and not to sound like a complete Azz. Let's just say like Hispanics can't cook Indian food, neither can these guys make a sub. The pastrami was warmed up on a George Forman type of grill that presses down on the pastrami turning it into jurkey by forcing out all the juice. Then I asked for pepperjack he put in Swiss. I do have to say the effort and willingness to do well was there but we have a ways to go. The meat quantity was low since it was sliced quite thick and tastes like salty leather. I hope to come back and try something else. Till then 3 stars!
