We serve Temple coffee at the restaurant. And when im in Sac. I like to stop at this location. Nice, big, and an outdoor patio. Get there early if planning on sitting down. Lots of laptops out. Cheers!

This temple coffee was so chill and relaxing! The staff was amazing and willing to answer any questions we had. They had good music playing and everyone in the coffee shop was so friendly. We cannot wait to come back!

This review is about the ambiance, rather than the food or the service. The coffee was as good as I expected for ca. $6 a cup. The service was also en par with most fancy coffee shops of this kind. No complaints there. The tables and chairs were the problem. We were in town, from the Bay Area, and took some extra time to see an old friend of ours, whom we hadn't seen in a long time. Temple had come highly recommended, so we went to coffee with him there. There's one big, long table, inside, as well as smaller tables. The big table is way too high compared to the chairs. Sitting down, the table was shoulder height for me. I had to reach up to get my coffee, and I'm not particularly short. The only alternative seating was these little wooden stools, but I have a back condition, and I need a back to my chair, and stools were very uncomfortable. We went outside to look for alternate seating, since it was crowded inside, only to find another table that was too high for the chairs. Finally, a party left, and we were able to grab their table, which was more of a standard table/chair setup I had expected to find. Don't get me wrong, the tables, chairs and stools were all beautiful to look at. They had the look and feel of being hand-crafted by carpenters in a quaint village long ago, or something. But function should go together with form. If a place is going to charge $6 for coffee, I think they need more than just good service, good coffee, and tables and chairs that are nice to look at. They should have places to sit down that are comfortable. If they had that, I wouldn't hesitate to give bump my rating up to 4, at least.

Food is great (I always leave with an affogato or muffin) Service is amazing (the whole staff is friendly and knowledgeable) Ambiance is my favorite!! ( I love coming here to work or catch up with friends) Get here early to snag a seat. It gets packed quick! If you plan to work and need an outlet to charge your device, there's only outlets along the wall facing the window or along the couches closest to the restroom!

I really liked this place. I used to go to the other Temple location off of Fair Oaks but it's super crowded. This one gets crowded too, but the layout of the long table and window seating allows for people to still get spaces to work, while the other location's smaller table layout, makes finding spaces to work more difficult. Customer service was great. The baristas were really nice and helpful in helping me choose my drink. I got the matcha sweetened which was ok, not as creamy and sweet as I'd like, but my friend got their seasonal apple cider chai latte and it was delicious. I'd definitely recommend this place, it has a great coffee place vibe. The guests I met were nice, I saw a good mix of students, young and old professionals, I got of a work vibe than a come let's socialize and or date vibe, however I also went around 6-close at 8pm so that may be it. The one downside is the close at 8pm, I would have wished they closed just a little later, like 9 or 10 like the other location, however it is still enough time for the 9-5 crew to get things done.Parking: Parking is not the best, there are like 5 spots in front of the location, but you can park in the residential areas, and walk a couple mins

LOVE THEIR CHOCO CHIP COOKIES!! Lol, I also like their hot chocolate. I heard their coffee is really good, although I've not had it since I'm not an avid coffee drinker. Really nice place. It's cozy and often full of customers on laptops.

I love how late they are open. Good coffee drinks. Good pastries. Steep in price though.

Overcrowded with coffee squatters. Not all outside seats are handicap accessible. Not nearly enough parking. Park carefully as you could risk being towed.Kid-friendliness: Super fun chalk wall for kids in outdoor area.

Coffee is the best in town, but they’re also a business that gives back to the community! After reaching out to support a nonprofit event, Temple promptly responded that they’d cover the coffee…for 50 people! Amazed by their generosity and very thankful to have Temple in Davis.
