It took me way too long to try this place. What a gorgeous experience! I ordered a cappuccino with the seasonal Wildwood syrup (floral and lavender forward). The inside of the cafe is clean and bright with a bar that's perfect for working or catching up with a friend. The outside patio is green and cozy. I will be back to try the tea and maybe a waffle.Locals in East Sacramento and River Park can easily walk to The Mill from either Folsom Blvd or by choosing the footpath behind CSUS.

A diamond in the rough along Elvas. The ambiance is minimal yet warm and there is seating indoors and outdoors to enjoy your order. I got the winter spice latte and waffle. Both were tasty and I liked how the waffle wasn’t overly sweet (you can order jam or syrup on the side). Note if you pay with cash there is a discount. I would definitely go back!

I generally prefer this location more than their downtown location. It's much less crowded and easier to find a parking spot. This is the roastery location, doesn't mean much if you are just getting a cup of coffee, but for coffee nerds it feels something special. Lots of beans and tea leaf for purchase. Typical coffee menu is available. I really like their outdoor patio, feels like a mini oasis.

Such an adorable little coffee shop! I wish they had this here when I was going to Sacramento State, it is right by the CSUS walk way sign. For people living nearby this would be the perfect spot to go before or after class. The matcha was perfectly sweet and not chalky at all. The iced chai was delicious as well. Both tasted very authentic. You can tell they pick very high quality teas. Very friendly service and super quick! The barista even asked what we wanted and started making our drinks before we paid.The only thing is there weren't many places to sit, so it's better for a to-go coffee stop. They did have some nice outside seating as well as a few spots inside, but it was a bit crowded for my taste.

The peony iced tea was well steeped and had just the right notes -- and I say that as a tea snob. The teas here are really well done, kudos to their team. They also sell a ton of leaves and tea knick knacks here so feel at home at The Mill if you're a tea-lover like me.The espresso tonic was one of the best we've ever had, and we've been across SF and New York in search of outstanding espresso tonics. Just the right amount of flavor without being too sweet, too bitter, or too bubbly. Excellent and no notes.Family also got the matcha latte, and they said that the matcha was very smooth and not chalky, which is what you look for in a great matcha drink.Service was very chill and fast AF. Many spots to sit down and also a small bathroom available.STOP BY -- this is a very well-done coffee and tea shop and I have very high standards.[p.s.: they literally have a poster about preserving plant biodiversity in this shop so if you are an eco-girlie like me this place is APPROVED VIBES]

Excellent customer service, delicious made-to-order waffles, and superb coffee. I had an iced vanilla latte and enjoyed it at one of their outdoor tables. I wish parking wasn't as complicated. There are only about 3 or 4 spaces in their small lot... everything else is street parking, which is also limited. Nonetheless, this is a quaint little spot that I will most likely return to, since it's close to other places of interest for me.

This place is sooooo good! They have fun and unique seasonal drinks. Their regular coffee drinks are always amazing! Also, the waffle to go is AMAZING!!! I can't recommend this place enough. You won't regret it if you want to give it a try. Also GET THE WAFFLE!!!
