Friendly employees, quirky old Town vibes, and a decent sub! Toppings aren't your typical mayo, mustard, and lettuce, but rather diced tomatoes, diced onions, and relish. Reminds me of hot dog toppings. Sub roll was soft, chewy, and tasted fresh. Bring cash as they charge to use a card.

This place is a Sacramento staple. It's been around for years and years for a reason. I've never had anything I didn't like off their menu. BUT... they are famous for their pepper-steak sandwiches and scratch made cannolis. You owe it to yourself to check this old school place out.

I've been frequenting this establishment for years and years. They serve up delicious genuine cold cut sandwiches with awesome flavor. Sadly, as of late, they have significantly cut back on the amount of meat on the sandwich and it's no longer as good. I think I'd gladly play a little more to have the same meat that used to be supplied. So I decided to try a pizza, this is what you get for $15 Why?

If you love old skool subs, that are fabulously made, flavorful, and a delight to your tastebuds and tummy...then skeedadle over to Tony Baloney's. In 2023 Tony's celebrated their 60th anniversary! They are a staple and part of Sacramento's eclectic history and their food is the reason why. Everything from subs to salads to pizza and spaghetti, their Italian recipes simply cannot be beat. Their interior has not change much, if any, the employees are incredibly friendly and lend to their relaxed atmosphere. Dive on into Tony Baloneys and satiate your hunger with some wonderful comfort food!

A family-owned restaurant that specializes in making various sandwiches that include the most delicious pastrami with potatoes and fresh salad. They also have types of pizza with distinct home-made flavors and taste. I recommend visiting it whenever the opportunity arises, especially for those who want to feel the family

Service and atmosphere were great. My husband ordered a turkey sandwich for me to go, when he got home and I opened the sub it was covered in a weird raw white onion and tomato salad. It ruined the sandwich and I was trying to remember if the menu says what comes on the sandwich and I didn’t see a “raw onions and tomatoes” on the menu… huge chunks of raw white onion was so off putting I took a bite and threw it away bc it was also drenched in oil. The bread wasn’t anything special and the meat was whatever.Husband got a meatball sub - the bread was soggy, the cheese was just a glob of goo, sauce was flavorless and he said the meatball itself was ok. He ate half and threw the rest of it away bc it was off putting. My husband said this place used to be awesome so it was very disappointing to see it’s gone down hill.
