Had a great time everyone was dancing and totally enjoying the great trumpets and saxophones , drums , the young vocalist was amazing. I got to help hold a beautiful saxophone for one of the performers!!! (Woo woo! ) I felt special. He just so happened to be on the bar ! Yes on The BAR! It was crazy and exciting! I will definitely be back here again. Maybe I'll get to hold someone's trumpet next time lol .....thank you,, Torch Club Sincerely, Terra PS. AND THE BARTENDER SHE WAS GREAT TOO!!¡

This place is not ADA friendly. They will deny service to anyone with a dog, including service dogs. The owner has a policy of no dogs at all, and they quote the have the right to refuse service to anyone while saying it's because of the service dog. The door guy was nice and was at least willing to listen to why that isn't legal, but then some guy named Mark came up and told me to get out that I'm blocking the door and completely denied me service. It's unacceptable to have a business and not train your employees on how to deal with service dogs. Don't come here. It just tells you the mindset of the business.

We went to see a friend play, and we're delightfully surprised that the place was packed. Lots of people dancing to that style of music, and everyone seemed in good spirits. I liked the 1930s atmosphere a lot. Definitely was a special place.I should say, though, there seems to be a misconception that the Torch Club serves food. They don't.

Best live music venue in Sacramento hands down, in my humble opinion. Performed a show with my band there recently, treated great, great drinks, good prices, solid crowd, stellar music, and just a badass old school bar that draws local talent and supports the artistic community in sac in a number of ways. Best open mic in sac, every Sunday night hosted by LAB RATS. ENJOY THE SHOW!!!
Who knew I would have ended up at the Torch Club....I came to Sacramento to visit my brother and brought my saxophone with hopes that I would be able to find a place to play at. I knew it couldn't have been that hard, but the place I originally planned on going to claimed to be open on Google and then had a sign on their door that said they were closed that night and the next.It just so happened that earlier that day my brother's friend messaged him that they were going to the Torch Club for a jazz jam and would like us to come. The timing could not have been any better. We had such a good night and I had so much fun playing on stage with new people and hearing different music than I'm used to.The place was packed and the service was still great. The manager, I am assuming, allowed me to stash my saxophone case in a safe place while I played. Everyone was friendly and the vibe was cool ?.

Cool little spot. The bartenders seem to take forever to get a drink order and they lack bathrooms but overall its a great place for music.

Atmosphere is great in this club. $5 for an 8oz Ice Tea, (no alcohol) and no refill is ridiculous though..
