Undercooked French toast. Yes, not just wet, oozing eggs. Couldn't eat it. Drove a hundred miles for this mushy "famous" French toast. My husband always orders Eggs Benedict but they changed to using corn muffins instead of English muffins. So he ordered Blueberries pancakes. 4 berries, in a dry cornbread muffin shaped as pancakes. Even doused with syrup, still inedible. Sigh. Gotta find another favorite and stop telling people to go here. Bummed.

Tower Cafe became a favorite when I moved here 25 years ago, and remains my go-to place for good food, good service, and wonderful atmosphere, indoors and out! The shaded garden dining area is a year-round pleasure, and the eclectic art from around the world displayed inside creates an endlessly fascinating environment. Plus, I've never had a dish I didn't like there! Easy to find, easy to park in the large lot shared with the theater, Perfect for a tete-a-tete, or a gathering of family and friends.

I can't say this is the best brunch restaurant in Sacramento, but I only had this brunch for two days and one night. I think it is very, very delicious, and you can be very full in one meal.

ower Café is a beloved Sacramento institution, celebrated for its eclectic menu, vibrant atmosphere, and inviting patio. Nestled in the historic Tower District, this café offers a diverse selection of dishes inspired by cuisines from around the world. From fluffy omelets and decadent French toast for breakfast to fresh salads, sandwiches, and pastas for lunch and dinner, there's something to satisfy every palate.

My visit to Tower Cafe was exceptional, largely due to the exquisite eggs Benedict and the service from our server, Edward. The dish itself was a culinary triumph, with perfectly poached eggs, a heavenly hollandaise, and just the right touch of Canadian bacon on a toasted English muffin. It wasn’t just the food that made the experience memorable, though. Edward’s genuine friendliness and impeccable service elevated our meal, making us feel truly valued. Tower Cafe isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a destination for remarkable food and outstanding service. A heartfelt thank you to Edward and the Tower Cafe team for a truly delightful dining experience. I can’t wait to return.

100% solid choice for brunch. Food was delicious. Tried 2 of there cocktails and unless you really want alcohol I'd personally pass. Service was great. You should expect this spot to be packed.

Amazing brunch offerings! Food (we ordered the Egg Tower and All Week Special) and coffees were on point. The outdoor seating area is really cute and they have plenty of parking in the back and seats. Seems to be very popular so come early!

Food was really good, inside is very crowded on weekends and there is a lot of decor that is really dusty but the food is the main part. The food and service is really good! Only part that worried me was the dust coming off of the decor that was visible when the sunlight shined through the glass. There is only 1 person bathrooms so i recommend using the restroom before coming in as well.Parking: On weekends finding parking may be difficult, place has good food so it may be crowded for sunday brunch!
