Just stopped in on a lunch walk for an iced tea and ended up getting a brownie too. Very good chocolatey brownie and a good black iced tea. Not busy, plenty of seating indoors and out. Friendly service. Photos of native people from Rio on the back wall.

Really enjoyed my first visit to Tupi! I had the Moreno iced, and it was delicious. It has the same communal feel as when Insight inhabited the space, with a bright, warm, and welcoming interior. Looking forward to seeing the spot thrive so conveniently located next to Southside Park. Can’t wait to try all of the menu items.

I love this place but the change in price is so frustrating. I used to come a lot last year but noticed I kept getting charged differently for the same drink ranging from $6-8 depending on who rang me up. I stopped in yesterday for the first time in a while, got charged $7.25 for one drink. Came back today ordered the same thing and got charged $8.75. Love the menu, ambience, and quality but the price difference is throwing me off.

Tupi is a wonderful Brazilian coffee shop with really great cheese bread. The atmosphere needs improvement. I wish they had more plants or something else to dampen the sound. It's incredibly noisy!I came here a few months ago and I loved the avocado toast. Unfortunately, it has declined since then. They no longer use fresh bread and now just use generic store-bought sliced. The flavor was so bland and lacking.

Save yourself the disappointment.Outside is cute, but the inside is bland. Food is generic and has the same selection as any other coffee shop. Very few (3?) Brazilian inspired options which seemed strange. The brioche buns are more like hamburger buns.Waited ~30 minutes for a to-go breakfast sandwich, when received no takeout bag was provided.

We recently moved and this shop opened up around the corner shortly after. To start, I can't wait for their rooftop seating area to open. They snagged a great location and this extra seating is necessary, especially on the weekends. They are consistent with quality coffee and food. This morning I asked to have a 64 ounce insulated Stanley container filled with drip coffee, and they handled it without attempting to overcharge me (which another nearby shop did try). The owner was present, and very warm, friendly, and professional.Their food and latte offerings are unique and appreciated in a town that's saturated with independent coffee shops.

Their coffee is 10/10. The latte was dark and delicious and not too sweet! My friend got the breakfast sandwich and said it was a 10/10. Cant wait to be back.

Got the hot chocolate and early grey tea. Both were great! They used high quality loose-leaf tea and brewed it at the right temperature. It’s very rare that cafes get this right. The hot chocolate was not too rich and had a nice nutty, slightly spiced taste.

Simply, the best place for coffee and a breakfast sandwich on a lazy Saturday morning. The atmosphere is great, and the staff is even better. When you're here, you're like family. Once you go here, you'll have found your new weekend routine.

What a beautiful soul-comforting space. Super cute and peaceful space. The people serving are also very polite and friendly.Brazilian snacks are delicious and fresh, in case you are hungry for a bite to eat. Try the rissoles. They're unique and yummy.I had a Moreno, my wife had a Brazilian lemonade and son had a hot chocolate. Everything was delicious. Coffee was excellent.

Stopped by Tupi's newest location. If this location is familiar to you, then you're not tripping. It was the home for Insight Coffee Roasters. Tupi has turned this space into a nice, bright, very open, and spacious coffee shop. There is an ample amount of tables to sit, eat, chill, work or if you prefer outdoors (and it's not cold) there are several tables outside as well.I have been to Tupi before at their other locations but not the latest one on 8th Street. I love this new space! Today, I got the Moreno latte with oat milk along with their veggie breakfast sando (minus cheese). The Moreno comes with honey, cinnamon, espresso and chocolate. If you stay, the drinks come out in these cool looking beaker like glasses. Drink is this creamy, chocolatey cinnamon goodness. I imagine it'll taste just as well when iced. The breakfast sando was pretty good as well. Since I got mine without the cheese there was no cheese pull but that's ok. I love brioche bread and the eggs were cooked well and oh so fluffy. It also does come with mayo, spring greens, and tomato. Still in awe of what the owner has done with this space. Simple, minimalistic, a bit earthy, with some fun Brazilian flare. Staff was very nice and everyone looked happy to be at work, doing what they do best. Looking forward to coming here again!

Tupi Coffee's new spot in Sacramento, their second location, has taken over the old Insight Coffee space. I ordered an Americano and I have to say it was quite good. I believe they roast their own beans . I also tried their corn and cheese empanada, and I absolutely loved it. The outside was hot and crispy, while the inside was filled with delicious, gooey cheese. As for the ambiance, the decor is kind of sparse . The bright yellow metal tables, green plastic chairs, stark white walls felt kind of "cold" and I didn't want to linger for too long . It feels like they need to warm the space up a bit; it's just a bit too "hollow" to be super inviting. On the upside, there are plenty of outside tables and chairs, which is nice. Additionally, I heard they have a rooftop area coming soon, which sounds promising.Overall, Tupi Coffee's new location offers a tasty welcome to the Southside downtown area . I'm sure they will stay quite busy with the influx of new developments in the area . Friendly service . I will be back for more delicious empanadas!!
