I'm going to start by saying first off I'm not vegetarian, nor vegan, nor pescatarian. I have to state that because every time I've told someone about this place the first thing they ask me is if I'm any of those above categories. It shouldn't matter If I am or not because flat out the food here is amazing. Yes this restaurant provides a great alternative for those who are vegetarian or vegan for sure. But even for those that are not this place has truly has delicious foods that tantalizes the taste buds. This place has also showed me that it is possible to eat healthier and still have tasty food. I've even been inspired to cook at home or so after trying dishes at this place. Whether your vegan or vegetarian or not I highly recommend you give this place a try You may be surprised at how delicious the food truly is. One of my favorite dishes is there crispy brussel sprouts sometimes I ask them for a little bit extra crispy and the pairing with the pickled onions pomegranates and the feta cheese along with the balsamic reduction is truly a delightful flavor that has left a profound impression on my taste buds.Vegetarian options: My favorite items are the crispy brussel sprouts and the gnocchi. But there are several delicious items on this menu and you can't go wrong. The only one I haven't tried is the one involving red beets that's just a personal preference.

Visited family in that area last month & my daughter took us to Veg Cafe for brunch...the french toast was wonderful..the fries were top notch & would love to know what coating or frying method is used to make them the most fantastic fries! Now all other fries will be blah in comparison.

I came here yesterday because I was craving soup and fries! The waitress was amazing , the fries were amazing, and the minestrone soup was okay! Definitely a super chill environment and lowkey which I love!!

A lovely evening here. Stormy outside but this upstairs restaurant was perfect for a date night: a cozy table, top notch food (we’ve dined at the famed Crossroads in LA), and superb wait staff. Highly recommended.

Best vegan food I've ever had. What a fun space too! Been vegan for about a decade and gotta say their momo Cali flower is undefeated. Shawn the manager was so great! He told us the tricks to making the perfect cashew cream. Love this place and highly recommend to anyone (vegan or not).

SO. GOOD. Awesome ambiance & service too! Everyone working there was so sweet! Order the Momo Cauliflower and the Fettuccine Vodka. You won't regret it, I promise. I feel like I just ate the food of the gods new favorite vegan joint!!!!!
The food - Absolutely fantastic, perfectly cooked and textures were fresh and lively. The food leaves you feeling good and obliterates all the cravings !! Service - kind, and caring and will get you what ever you want. Sometimes a little slow, but who cares, the food was worth the 15 min wait. Ambiance - Beutiful view out of the corner windows down to the street and downtown, great lighting and clean interior. GO HERE!!!

The restaurant is upstairs (above Thai Basil) and we sat in the window seat area where you overlook J Street and it was nice. I got the crepe florentine and it had good flavor but could have used a little more flavor in my opinion. We were seated right away and the service was good. I would come back and try the pasta and a cocktail. Definitely check this place out if you like vegan food.

Visited this place while passing through Sac. We were pleasantly surprised at how tasty the food was. We love finding plant based restaurants. We ordered:•Crispy Brussels Sprouts•Savory Breakfast Crepe•Sausage & HashThe sauces were delicious and each plate was packed full of veggies. The sausage also tasted amazing for being plant based. Definitely recommend giving this place a visit if you’re in the area.
