Really fast service was surprising--about 4 minutes from order to entree! Utterly HUGE serving sizes--as in "take the leftovers home and have for lunch later in the week" size of the entrees. Even flesh eaters will like it as the mock meats are really tasty. It's easy to see why it has so many great reviews:-)

Great food, wonderful choices. Who needs real meat when the "beef" and "chicken" have such good flavor and texture! The staff are lovely and efficient. Not the trendiest looking place but it's clean.

Definitely not much of a veggie eater but this place I would eat it without a doubt lol. I've tried this place a few times now but not everything on the menu as I kind of have my go to dishes I order. My favorite appetizer is the spicy wonton, it doesn't even taste like veggies it's like a meaty mushroom filling kind of like a mushroom shu mai but in wonton and spicy oil. The spicy oil chili sauce they use for the wontons is so good that I usually use the left over sauce like a dim sum dipping sauce for my other dishes. I love their satay eggplant and tofu, this dish is so good and cooked well, the eggplants are nicely pan fried and are not all disintegrated which gives that little bit of bite, and the deep fried tofu is so silky soft in the inside and the outer skin is this fried texture with all the sauces soaked into it (perfect with a bowl of rice). My go to noodle dish is the vegan chicken chowmein as I really like the vegan chicken they use, kind of reminds me of fried vietname pork roll but in vegan form. Lots of veggies in the noodles but they all go well together and for someone who doesn't like veggies much that's says a lot lol. I definitely will need to try more dishes in the future because everything I've tried so far has been delicious. Staff are nice and helpful and food comes out pretty quickly, service is good. They have changed up the decor inside from my most recent visit, places seems more dine in friendly now (I've only done takeout so can't speak for dine in service)

My coworker bought this a while a back and let me try a little and I very much liked it. I went today for lunch, and the food was even better. I ordered the vegan beef and broccoli and chicken chow mien and they both hit the spot. It is a little expensive. Maybe some dinner combos might help with the cost. I highly recommend and would return when I want to spoil myself a little.

Holy cow what took me so long to try VDS? I had delivery that tasted like it came right out of the kitchen and straight into my home. So fresh! I had the fried squash and the eggplant and tofu entree. The squash was crispy and meaty, and seasoned to perfection. The eggplant rivaled and beat the best eggplant dishes from the best Thai restaurants in Sac. I'll be back, often.

This place is a GREAT find. It was walking distance from the SAFE center, so easy to get to when you're there on business or for lunch breaks on a work day. The food was delicious and amazing. Everything is vegetarian/vegan. I ordered an eggplant and tofu stir fry. It was so flavorful and delicious. My friend and I also shared some appetizers - fried egg rolls. So delicious and the food was fresh when brought to you. I didn't get to try the boba but my friend ordered and she said it was refreshing. The restaurant itself is tucked in a corner so you'll have to look out for it. Parking can be tough as it seems like it was only street parking but there are garages around the area if you don't mind the extra steps. 10/10 I would highly recommend this to vegetarian/vegan friends or if anyone wants to grab a green meal!

Our regular Vegetarian place we go to was closed on Wednesday. So we resorted to Yelp to find a new vegetarian place to try out. We stumbled upon Vegan Deadly Sins. It's located in downtown, so parking can be tricky. For us, we went around 2:30p, so parking was too difficult. The place itself is a good size. Lots of seating for people wanting to dine in. We ordered ahead of time to take back home. I got to the cashier, gave them my name, paid and tip, and I was on my way. We ordered quite a few dishes to try out. We were really excited to try out a new vegetarian spot, however we were left pretty disappointed. Most of the dishes left a bad after taste. So bad that we ended up not finishing it and throwing it out. And I really hate to waste food. The vegan chicken and vegan beef had a bad after taste as if it was straight from the can and not even washed or seasoned. The only dish that was worth finishing was the Satay Eggplant and Tofu. Most likely because it didn't have any of the "Vegan" meats. 1. Walnut Vegan Prawns 2. Satay Taro Pumpkin Spareribs 3. Satay Eggplant and Tofu 4. Sweet and Sour Vegan Chicken 5. Satay Beef Chow Mein 6. Crispy Vegan Chicken Appetizer I really wanted to enjoy the food at this place. Maybe it was just a bad day? Maybe the chef decided not to clean the vegan meat or season it? Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place to my vegetarians out there.
