Really good breakfast options, a tad pricey but normal for a hotel restaurant. Really liked the Power Porridge, tasty and the portion size will fill you up. Wait staff was super friendly.

Ordered pick up and room service. Burger cooked perfectly, Cobb salad was very good, goat cheese and eggs and bacon. I didn't even use the dressing...cuz it comes with the most delicious crispy onions on it.

Hostess, server were wonderful. We were offered a Brussel sprout appetizer that was delicious using fresh Brussel sprouts. Very delicious. Split a turkey blt and had cocktails. Nice lunch before a broadway performance. Will go back. Fresh food. Nice staff.

Food had to be sent back. Pasta dish was a barely warm glob of oversauce congealed cheese and pasta. The service was almost non-existent. I have eaten at this restaurant several times but food and service have never been this bad.

I was looking for something close to where we were staying and Vines popped up. I had no idea it was the restaurant in the hotel next door. I was pleasantly surprised! The food was good and the service was excellent.

Our server was wonderful. We commented we would all hire her because of her attitude and competence. It was a very good experience. We only give 5's for exceptional service. Everything was very good!

Very limited offering for a hotel restaurant. Just a continental buffet breakfast for a Sunday Brunch, very weak! No better than what you get at a Marriott Fairfield or Residence Inn. We choose the restaurant because it was near the Performance Art Center and had tickets for a performance. Fish tacos was over cooked, pieces of fish and over breaded! Awful

The location was perfect, the place is attractive and the decibel level (in spite of several large parties of older adults who could have been loud due to deafness ?) was manageable. The menu is where it all fell apart. The selections were too few and decidedly odd. For a restaurant of that size there surely should be more options. A turkey sandwich , a hamburger or a bowl of quinoa and greens ... I finally decided on flatbread, which was ho hum. Very disappointed!

I enjoyed a delicious, if overpriced breakfast at Vines Bistro. The service was exceptional. Server Shauba (spelling?) was wonderful, personable, courteous, and efficient. The food was well prepared and nicely presented, though somewhat overpriced, at $20 for 2 eggs, sausage, toast, and potatoes. The menu is small, but it was fine, and as I said, the service was excellent.

I've been in this hotel for almost a week and this is the first time I ate breakfast here. Vinings is currently being served thru Dawson's. Up to this point, everyone has been very accommodating in spite of renovation adjustments. However this morning it was a different experience.Lyle (asked someone for his name - no name tag) who originally was going to take our order, was quite short and abrasive. I jokingly stated that we weren't ready because we just found out there were no waffles. He didn't respond very positively and mumbled something about renovations and a limited menu and walked away. He walked by later and I said "we're ready to order now". He quipped, Alyssa will be out to ..." and kept walking. Alyssa who appeared to be assigned to a completely separate part of the restaurant (front), came back to our section (back) just for our table. She was very accommodating and made sure to come back and check on us.Good thing the food was great. Given the area, I expect higher prices but the service should be top tier to match. But give it a try, as long as you get Alyssa for your waitress or maybe catch Lyle on a good day.I don't know why Lyle was so short, borderline rude but I have to say it has been the worst experience here thus far. Maybe he was having a bad day or took my disappointment with the unavailability of waffles personally. *shrugs*Alyssa provided great service and help save the experience. However, I don't think I'll eat in Dawson's/Vinings for the remainder of my trip.

The cafe is under construction. Arrived for my reservation and contacted the restaraunt and was told to go to tjlhe 15th floor for breakfast or a different floor/location for lunch, then I was told that if I wanted breakfast I'd need to go elsewhere. Unless you're a hotel guest I'd encourage you to wait until after construction/ remodeling so that you can have a true opinion.

We were three for lunch before a matinee at the nearby performing arts center. I had the ham mac and cheese, which was disappointing. The cheese tasted like it came from a tube of cheez whiz. Whatever ham was in there was pretty hard to find. One of us had the daily special soup, which, as it happens, has the same name as a soup made by our local market. She ate about half of it and pronounced the market version to be far superior. Too bad; this used to be a nice place. The service is still good, and friendly, but mediocre food won't cut it.

There were three of us for lunch. I had the ham mac and cheese, which contained only tiny amounts of ham. The cheese tasted as if it came from a bottle of cheez whiz. Very disappointing. One of us had the soup of the day, which, it turned out, is also sold as a soup with the same name at our local market. She abandoned it halfway through and pronounced the market version as much better. The third of us had the turkey BLT, which she pronounced as acceptable, but not as good as expected. I doubt that we will be back. That's a shame because this place is ideally situated to serve lunch to attendees at matinees of the nearby performing arts center.
