got shut down by the city because they found a bunch of living and dead roaches, ewww. Hopefully it doesn't touch the food or get in it

Got the recommendation from a local bartender, and it really didn't disappoint, the fish was amazing and had some great oyster shooters.

I’m a big fan of chirashi - a variety of raw fish over rice. Tonight I got on of the best ones I’ve ever had. The fish was extremely fresh and tasty. It even came with two pieces of unagi. Yum!

Wow, seemed like a quiet holiday Wednesday….but this place seemed so overwhelmed they didn’t greet me, told me to sit anywhere (no eye contact) and then ignored me for ten minutes….then the chef who was clearly trying to catch up on a pick up order he forgot to make asked me if I wanted a menu…his voice was begging me to say no…so I said no and am walking to mikuni’s.

Bad management of tables and customer service. We didn’t even get offered watered. We waited for three hours and even when they told us to wait at sushi bar until table was ready, we still didnt get attention. Hire someone new, waitress are overstretched.

Today was my second time visiting this restaurant, and will probably be the last. Firstly, I ordered on their main website for takeout and the estimated time for pickup was around 45 minutes. I arrived, and noticed how the server, a slender lady around 5'9 with her hair in a ponytail, forgot to include one roll that wasn't listed in the receipt. I corrected her politely and she was so impatient, and kept stating that "the price of my order got more expensive due to tax" but I was pointing out that the overall price was cheaper than what I had from my online order. I asked her to double check the order and she was sarcastically apologetic about missing an item. After waiting 20 minutes for a small roll, she handed me the box with no plastic bag, after I asked if I could get a bag with it, she totally ignored me and just walked away. I had to walk up to the sushi counter and had to request one of the workers to get me a bag. Also when I asked for sriracha on the side, she snapped at me and said she already included it inside the box without even telling me after she aggressively handed the missing item to me.I did not have a pleasant experience the first time I was at this restaurant as they didn't start my online order until I got there. This business has a horrible asset that just ruined my experience and my desire to return to this location. The server was really unprofessional, rude, impatient, and immature. Those qualities won't get you far in life if you're trying to reach a professional job.Overall. the portions were small, the quality of the sushi is mid, and the service is horrible. Please skip this restaurant and make your way to other sushi restaurants Sacramento has to offer.

I've ordered from here before in the past for delivery via postmates, but tonight's set the lowest bar I've ever had in any food delivery application. I ordered not one but TWO orders of sashimi, the slices of fish that arrived were so small that combined, the $42 total order looked smaller than any one order of sashimi I've ever received. The hotate were so small (somewhere between a quarter and a fifty cent piece) and sliced so thinly as to be translucent and the hamachi slices were the size of an airpod. There was no soy sauce, there were no chopsticks, the delivery driver parked in my driveway, then walked across my lawn, and while NONE of the star rating above reflects the delivery, it was a perfect cherry on top of the worst sushi I've ever wasted money on. I was so mad I was tempted to call my credit card to reject the charge...but instead I just ordered a burrito from somewhere else (via grubhub).

When I lived in Sac, you could find me here every weekend without fail. Aside from the fish being super fresh and delicious, the staff and sushi chefs are seriously what made me come back. They make you feel right at home and the service is super quick!! I usually get the chef’s 7 pc nigiri and a couple of orders of seared salmon belly with tuna hand rolls. You really can’t go wrong with any of the menu rolls either. I recently visited the midtown location and it’s the same great fish and staff! There really isn’t a sushi place in town that I recommend more than Wedashii! Love the food and love the people. Will always stop by when I’m in town!

The food is way better than the place looks. Lol! Great, fresh fish and the ribs are a BEAST!! the pepper fin with the garlic fried jalapeños are fantastic. The service is fun and excellent. The chefs and servers are so lively and fun. It reminds me of talented kids that opened a restaurant, before it was finished, and give you excellent food!
