This place is fast and efficient! It’s the same lady who takes your order. It’s all ala carte orders. I had the single Cheese burger I wish it was thicker but they put seasoning so it’s tasty. I had the zucchini. That’s yummy they put chopped garlic and Parmesan cheese yum. Everything is separate including the ranch for the zucchini is small and not enough for one order. That shouldn’t ever happen. You should have sauce for all of the zucchini. Ranch is so cheap. I shouldn’t have to buy an extra ranch. Now about the prices it’s pretty expensive cause it’s ala carte. Besides that’s why I gave a 4 star all across & not a 5 ⭐️

What can I say?? Willie's is perfectly imperfect, and that's what I love about it! Been dining at the downtown location for decades and will continue to do so. Willie's remains one of my favorite places to eat in the nation. However, as a born&raised SacraMartian, I'm probably biased. I'll take their grease-coming-through-the-bag burgers over other bourgeois burger spots ALL DAY! ?

For someone who was born and still lives in Sacramento, I had yet to experience the unique indulgence that is Willie's Burgers. This is the kind of local burger joint that I will have to come back to in order to get the full experience. The burger was a dense, double patty monster with bacon, chili and cheese, served on a nice bun. It was awesome. I also tried the chilli tamales. They were loaded with shredded beef, of decent quality, drenched in chilli and quite filling. What more can I say?
