This was our first time at Zinfandel Grille as new Californians. The service was great, and it was nice that we were seated at our reservation time. We indulged in the bread and butter appetizer and spinach salad. Both were fresh and, I appreciated that they split the salad for my honey and I. We also shared the meat lover’s pizza. I was curious how the aged Swiss would taste, but it was honestly delicious. We both loved the wood fired taste from the wood fired oven. We look forward to trying the other signature pizzas. We finished our evening with a Mexican Especial for me and a cappuccino for my love. Since it was our anniversary, we were blessed with an indulgent white chocolate cheesecake dessert to share. We will definitely come back and enjoy some of the other fine dishes Zinfandels has to offer.Kid-friendliness: There was a group for homecoming, so kids/teens are well received!

We were a party of 8 celebrating my victory over cancer. I easily made reservations and asked for a high chair for my grandson. The drinks were excellent. Shrimp and grits were so yummy with the artisan bread and butter. Halibut was the special, tender and delicious. Others also enjoyed pork chops, spareribs, salmon, and prawns with pasta. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming! The acoustics in the large party room was a bit too noisy. I could not hear others at the end of table. Really a five star restaurant with many happy customers.

We attended this restaurant for the first time today. It was to celebrate a business opportunity and it was also date night. We ordered the Brussels sprouts as appetizer. Diana an amazing human being. The appetizer was good. But when we ordered our entrees they arrive as we barely starting our appetizer. My partner ordered the pesto pizza, and I ordered the pork chop. The dish (pork chop), came with polenta and Brussels sprouts. The sprouts were burnt, the polenta was super salty, and the pork was raw. They actually served us raw pork. We told Diana, and we told her that we would pay for the dish, and cook it at home and serve it later. Diana was apologetic, and I told her that serving raw pork is dangerous, and she told her manager, but the manager never came, once to apologize. I ended up vomiting the food, but my stomach is not doing too good and I feel sick. A great night ruined. Worse meal I had in a long time. Please be careful!Doc

Zinfandel Grille is a restaurant with an Italian inspired menu. This place ain’t cheap nor is it overly pricey. Food is delicious, the quality is superb. Service is stellar. The ambiance is upscale without the pretentiousness. Beautiful dining room.I haven’t dined here in ages because I don’t often get out to the Arden-Fair Oaks area. Last month, I met up with a group of friends for Sunday dinner. The 10 of us ate and drank having a fantastic time. I had the short rib. It was tender and flavorful. The horseradish mashed potatoes were amazing. It had a nice kick of horseradish but not enough to set your nostrils on fire. (Yes, it was made with dairy. Lactose intolerant me, took a lactase enzyme pill). I also tasted a bit of the spaghetti carbonara… yum. Nothing like the taste of fresh made pasta and Zinfandel Grille sure knows how to make it.Ingles, our main waiter, was terrific, as was Bryce. Very patient and attentive with the group. We were able to split checks for three.

Wait staff was badly inattentive. The place was probably 10% full yet cocktails were very slow, which means it wasn't the bar backed up. Ordered wine after entrees but showed up before appetizers and cocktails. Never came back to pour wine. Had to do it ourselves when food arrived by runner. Never once did the waiter pour a drop of wine. Appetizer plates left on the table and we had to set them aside to make room for the entrees. Calamari appetizer listed chickpeas were in it, but it was 50% chickpeas and (maybe) broken bits of squid. My date had the short ribs. She seemed to like them. Pork chop was so salty the much touted “chutney” could barely be detected in a mixed bite. Date tasted and comment was “that's really salty.” Brussels sprouts on the side were good. Slightly charred and crispy, perfect. High point of the meal. Sad when the high point of the meal is the veggie side on your entree. Deduct overpriced but not horribly overpriced La Crema Pinot Noir, still hit over $200 with no dessert or coffee. At that price I can get a rave review worthy dinner in San Francisco. Sad the Sacramento locals promise the same thing at the same price but serve up nothing close at the same price. Avoid.

What a lovely spot! The Chai Old Fashion cocktail was superb, JC was an excellent server and the food was very good. The charcuterie board was a bit skimpy, the clam chowder was not hot enough and the carbonara was too salty, but the short ribs were delicious and we loved our afogato desserts.

Very good food, especially the gnocchi. The cream sauce was wonderful and velvety. The service was great but not intrusive. Drinks and food came quickly. The special Mahi was very tasty and moist. Will be coming back.

Atmosphere is typical for many restaurants. The food was full of flavor. Ordered a pizza of the chicken pesto which wasn’t too over powering. The chicken had plenty of flavor and it seemed to be fresh shredded chicken. Also ordered the carbonara which had plenty of bacon and it wasn’t too milky. The noodles were perfect and had just the right consistency.Great selection of wine but I’m partial to Flowers from near by county.

We have a group of friends getting together this evening to enjoy the fun and the delicious food at Zinfandel Grille. We have a quiet section tonight, and I love our dining room. Our waiters are very attentive and professional. I loved my Grilled Salmon and took a few bites of my friend’s dishes. All the dishes are very yummy! I love this restaurant; it has become one of my favorites now!Parking: Many parking spaces are available.Wheelchair accessibility: No problem with a wheelchair.
