Just had one of the best dining experiences EVER at Zócalo. Not only was the food excellent, but the service was incredible. My server America was prompt and hospitable in helping me decide on their expansively delicious brunch menu (glad I took her recommendation on the Arrachera con Huevos). She and the bar staff were also very accommodating, even as I ordered technically “off-menu” drinks. As I finished up, I was so pleasantly surprised to see a manager on duty (Nicholas) cheerfully helping his staff clean tables on the patio and sweep up the area as the brunch lull died down. He even grabbed me a to-go bag for the box he saw on my table without me even asking. It was so refreshing to not only have my needs anticipated but to see a staff that seems to work together so well to provide a truly excellent dining experience. Worth even more Michelin stars than they already have!

*Happy Hour Chronicles*I'm only mad I didn't try their happy hour sooner. Could NOT have been more impressed with their flautas and guacamole, utter perfection ?And my friend and I were lucky to have the sweetest and most attentive waitress!! One of my favorite social outings in a while, it's the perfect time and place to sit outside and soak in the free vitamin D!

Love the food there customer service great. 4 stars due to trying the Chipotle shrimp (house favorite), and they were so plain unseason I complained and stated I didn't like it and seem like it bother there server but a few minutes later he shook it off and was so dope with us... definitely recommend ?

I don’t live in the area, but I would drive back to eat here. The atmosphere and ambiance feel natural…almost like you’re eating outside. Large pillars, high ceilings, limestone floors, dark wood everywhere. Somehow it’s cozy like a home, then some nice people bring out incredible food.The cuisine is exceptional. Authentic Mexican cuisine with some California flare. The carnitas was marinated and cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The habanero salsa was a perfect blend of spicy - a flash of heat followed sweet verde.We finished with dessert and the flan-filled churro melted in my mouth. There’s a reason for the nearly perfect 2.3k reviews. It’s worth it.
