Absolutely amazing food. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, wonderful prices for portion size. I ordered the chicken platter and got much much more food than I thought I would, everything included in the meal was great. The hummus was delicious, the pita bread isn't the best pita bread I've ever had but it was still very good and I wouldn't let it take away from the meal at all.

Walked in expecting traditional bbq, but found out it is more of a Mediterranean place that serves burgers too. Not what you would think when you think "BBQ." Asked the owner/worker what he recommended, and he noted the gyro plate. We had a group of 5 people and I decided to go with the gyro plate. My food came out within 10-15 min. Two of the other gals in our group (one ordering a greek salad and the other a chicken wrap) had to wait over 30 min for their food. We even went and asked where it was. The rest of us were done eating before they got their food, sadly. The gyro plate had great flavor, although the hummus was bland. The meat was great and yogurt sauce was good. Two friends got the falafel plate and they did NOT like it at all. Said the flavor was off and it was missing sauce. The friend that waited over 30 min for the chicken wrap said the meat was NOT chicken.The place was filthy. Dead crickets on the floor. Dirty tables and chairs. The bathrooms were BAD, no soap and super stinky.Had we known all this, we never would have eaten here. We will not be back.

We ordered a gyro platter and combo kabob plate to go.The gyro platter came with extremely under-seasoned humus, that was bland, no salt or even acid (lemon/lime missing) it's as if tge ground chick peas but didn't add anything.The basmati rice hidden under the gyro meat made the majority of the plate (I'd estimate 8 oz) was lightly seasoned; buttery-garlic with an almost undetectable saffron aroma. Also not nearly enough vegetables so make a good gyro sandwich with the pita.Add on sauces such as tzatziki sauce tasted bland and no better than the plain Greek yogurt base. No oil, no salt, no cucumber, only a light smattering of parsley.The combo kabob plate we ordered included 1 beef and 1 chicken kabob, pita, humus, rice and pickled veggies. This plate was a huge disappointment. The meats we not seasoned one bit. To make it edible we had to eat with the pickled veggies to at least give the food an acrid flavour.And at an average of $18 per plate before taxes a huge rip off for what we were served.

I thought it was going to be barbecue but actually not at all. Greek food, pizza and burgers no barbecue. For convenience to our hotel was good We came because of the rating but it was not busy at 5:40 We were two of three customers so not busy and yet the tables weren't wiped clean. My partner ordered his gyro with feta cheese and the order taker acted like he had never heard of such a thing. The cashier kept saying jyro which made us question his knowledge. My partner repeated his request and was told okay but a look of suspicion was not necessary. My cheeseburger was good but the meat patty was quite small. The place is decorated like typical fast food places nothing fancy.

I would say the blaze barbecue is one of the best options for Halal food in the Modesto area. I usually get their blaze burger as it is hard to get a good Halal burger around. They make it big and juicy. As for the rice dishes, I do believe that they can do better considering the price, and the quantity are quite unmatched. All their sides are absolutely amazing. They could do better on the r rice. Definitely a must try for anyone who is looking for a good place to eat at a good price range.
