I've been here a couple times and I'm glad I found them. I think I saw them on a youtube video on "must see" places to check out. The first time we came w got the cheesy garlic bread which was very good and they didn't skimp on the cheese. The artichoke soup was amazing. It has a couple pieces of artichoke, cream based broth. I got the linguini and clams. They definitely don't skimp on the clams... you get our monies worth for sure. My mom got the chicken parm and kept having to stop herself from eating it all because she wanted to take some home to make a sandwich later.

Used to get takeout from here as they had a GF pizza. We would also get a regular pizza. Tried 4-5 times and sadly it wasn't very good. I get better GF pizza from the freezer section of the grocery. Never eaten inside or tried any of their other food. This is solely based on their pizza. Restaurant seems to always be busy.

Excellent food, very consistent, with a huge menu that has something for everyone. We stop here when heading home from weekend trips to SLO, Avila, Pismo or Santa Barbara, or when we are picking up furniture or other large items in Salinas. The linguine with clams is excellent, as is the lasagna. But really you can't go wrong with any dish. And the prices are great. I chuckled when I read a review that said this is an expensive restaurant ... they should try dining in Carmel, Pebble Beach or Pacific Grove.

Gino's is our go-to when I want vegan Italian and my husband wants his favorite Italian dishes. My favorite dish is Carmela's Penne Primavera, and it's loaded with vegetables and a healthy amount of garlic. At times, I have also asked for extra carrots and mushrooms for a combination that makes up a protein. The service is good and the ambience is family friendly and casual. There is no pretense here, just good food. Love it.

Ever since it was sold the food really does not taste as fresh. In the beginning it did but as time went on it began to taste less and less like the Ol Gino's. More like Frozen fish and packaged Alfredo sauces compared to the home made taste it once was.

Would not recommend, food was not satisfactory and was cold when received at my table, service was very repetitive and not good by any means, as for the ambiance it wasn't surprisingly empty for a SATURDAY night. And for some odd reason there was no manager present when asked? Would not recommend to anyone if you would like to fine dine.
