DON'T EAT HERE! GAVE ME SOMEONE ELSE'S LEFTOVER FOOD CONSISTENTLY. I've been here about 4 times because I doubted myself. The first time the food was excellent. Then the second time and afterward they started giving me what looked and definitely was leftover food from someone else's plate about 3 different times. Not sure if I'm just imagining them having something against me (I'm a White female) but my 2 guy friends' food was fresh and delicious every time but mine was definitely nasty. I gave them the benefit of the doubt.. The second visit was a considerably smaller portion on a small plate with reheated leftover pieces of chicken with limp yellow lettuce that looked partly chewed. The third time I went with something different: carne asada tacos. The meat was hard and almost burnt, the tortillas were hard and looked reheated, the rice was soggy and broken, and the beans were oily and mushy. This last time (just to test it out) there was reheated hard sliced chicken again with some green pieces of lettuce and brown lettuce on the bottom but mixed in. I ate a little of the good pieces because I was "imagining things" and vomited a while later. DEFINITELY CONFIRMED THEY MESS WITH YOUR FOOD. Listen to yourself if it doesn't feel right. Good atmosphere, wish it matched the experience and their values.

Gordon's Café was a pleasant experience. To me it was the epitome of your neighborhood spot. I felt like it was an easy place to end up at 4 times a week, and this was my first time there. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and fries and it was everything a good burger should be. Definitely going back to try something else on their menu.

Recommend! My siblings and I had food delivered and catered for 40 people. This was for a Memorial reception and all of us were traveling to Salinas considerable distances so critiquing food and establishment ahead was not possible. It was a pleasure working out details and everything was above our expectations. Salinas area has a gem in this establishment.

Revisiting Gordan’s this week reminded me how special they are. Always fresh, the diversified menu has a plethora of tasty healthy options. Want comfort? Want vegetarian? Want Mexican fare? They do it all with love. Respectful present staff as well! ‼️??‼️

We stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. They do not have a breakfast menu, you just tell them what you want andnits made. We had chili rellenos with rice and beans and chorizo con huevos. Both were tasty, served hot and fresh, coffee was perfect. Service was great.. but printbout a few breakfast menus at hime.. its nice to have a menu to view.

You have just walked into a cute homemade Mexican restaurant with diner vibes. Vegan tamale with Mushroom was incredible. I also got enchiladas oaxacas. Staff was very kind and prices were great for what we got. I would definitely come here again!
