The food was really good! They have both Chinese and American choices, but we went there for Chinese so that's what we got. My friend and I got a two person mea and it was a lot of food! Totally worth it . The service was fast, we barely had to wait at all for our food to start coming out. It's in a strip mall but the atmosphere is cozy.

My experience is specific to ordering vegetarian dishes. I wonder if it is done in vegetable oil or animal based fat. Sometimes the no egg veggie fried rice feels like prepared in vegetable oil and sometimes lard. For the first time I ordered the chicken wings but the shape of the wings made me wonder. I tried to bake the wings at home after making them into smaller pieces but I am still cautious.Since communication is an issue I should try asking using some translation software.I occasionally patronize this restaurant and have had an average opinion but this last time I did get an upset stomach.Vegetarian options: Not sure of the medium used.Dietary restrictions: Just had veg and non-veg.Parking: Never a problem.

I’ve lived in Prunedale over 20 years and this is the first time I’ve tried here. It is a bit more expensive than our usual place but so worth it!Hot and sour soup so good I can taste it even with Covid. Sent husband back for another order today. Moo goo gai pan excellent. Fresh quality ingredients. Chinese food is a favorite so new go to restaurant for us. Great menu

First time trying Jim's Restaurant upon this visit! I ordered garlic tofu and vegetables with a side of white rice and the meal was very savory and flavorful. I ordered takeout, but received my food fast and the woman who answered was very kind. In terms of vegetable options, there isn't many. With my dish, I did expect more tofu but it was still amazing nonetheless. Overall, I will likely return to this restaurant and give it another try to get the full experience. This is a hidden little gem in prunedale and would recommend others to try :)

Wonderful service. Delicious food and pick-up was easy. Walnut prawns were still crispy when I got them home. Beef chow fun was really well made with a good mix of vegetables. So glad we found this spot in Prunedale!
