Food was good however service was a little slow. The staff was nice but it was confusing as to who was actually our server. A couple staff woukd check in, take our order, being the bill. However a few times there seemed to be a miscommunication between them on who was covering down on what. Would go back as I'm sure it may have just been a hiccup that day.

We eat here at least once a week or every other week, the food is delicious, the service is great, and the prices are really reasonable for what you get. Sara is wonderful with advise on what to get.

My daughter and I tried this cute little spot for lunch one day after a drive down to Big Sur and back. It was very busy (it was the week after Christmas) so the staff seemed a little harried, but the food was very good. We ordered miso soup and a couple of rolls. The rolls were as fresh as could be, and the presentation was beautiful. I should have taken a picture! And the prices were lower than we're used to in Southern California. We'll definitely return when we're in the area.

Delicious and I am very particular about my sushi rolls. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. There are so many choices! Other people at the bar ordered the hamachi sashimi and were singing praises. Prices were low for everything. We ordered the San Francisco roll and then the spicy tempura roll under the fried rolls menu. I really liked the San Francisco roll, although I like cream cheese in my sushi. So might not be for everyone. I didn't like the outside fry on the spicy tempura roll very much because it wasn't panko. It wasn't crunchy. Otherwise it was tasty. Sushi is soft and can easily be bitten into two pieces if necessary.Yes, this is a causal restaurant, but it's more than just a deli style restaurant. They do provide table service. There is a bar (not a sushi bar - sushi is made in the back) that is cute and tucked away around the corner from the main restaurant. With the current prices, it's basically a constant happy hour here with delicious sushi. I imagine the bar will be packed soon. There's just not a lot of choices for wine or beer. In hindsight, I would get a bottle of the Kali Hart Chardonnay and take what wasn't consumed home. The house wines were so so, but at the prices, it's hard to complain.A LOT of door dash orders were coming in so if you are in a hurry or picking up, you may want to order in advance as they were 30-45 minutes out on food by about 5:30.Wish list: Bar hooks for purses and a bigger selection of wine by the glass and beer.

Came here on 01/05/2024 for my anniversary dinner and was excited to try it out since there were good reviews but unfortunately we were unable to try it. As soon as we walked in, we noticed 3 waitresses were having a disagreement behind the counter. I heard one of the waitresses yelling at the other one and then witnessed her slamming orders on the counter over and over again. The whole time my husband and I stood by the door and no one acknowledge us, after a couple minutes standing there we ended up leaving. We ended up going to another sushi restaurant for dinner instead.

Delicious and fresh!! We had the Salmon sashimi, love me tender roll, mango crunch roll, katsu udon, miso soup and yummy hot sake. All sooo good!! Highly recommended!!

Cute ambience, extremely polite staff and great food. Loved the miso soup, avocado and cucumber sushi rolls. The vegetarian teriyaki bowl was good too. Good one if you’re looking for Japanese food. Left the restaurant pretty full and content in regard to both food and money. Liked it!Vegetarian options: Good options for vegetarians.
