Plain and simple not just because it's close to my house but it became my favorite traditional Mexican restaurant in salinas hands down! I always order the wet super burrito, but I have tried their mariscos, and they are amazing their micheladas are thirst, quenching hands down the best, and I recently tried their shrimp empanadas and they are the best I've ever tasted I 100% recommend this place

The lazy bald owner was sitting down in a table, while there were no employees. I had to stand there waiting until an employee finally came from the back and the careless owner saw me there and didn’t bother to care or help at all. Keep in mind, the restaurant was completely empty at lunchtime (now I know why). If that wasn’t bad enough, the food I ordered was so horrendous that it wasn’t even edible. I ordered asada fries, and the fries were so greasy that they dripped in oil when I picked them up with the fork. Disgusting. Not even McDonald’s has fries that greasy. Don’t waste your money here. If I could give a 0 star I would.

The service here was surpringly more disgusting than the food. The lazy bald owner was sitting down while I was STANDING to order my food to go. He saw me standing there and didn't bother to help at all and waited for another worker to finally see me that was in the kitchen doing other stuff. The restaurant was completely empty and yet I was left standing there waiting. If that wasn't bad enough, I ordered asada fries that were horrendous. The meat was visibly old, and the fries were soggy with grease so bad that the grease puddled on the bottom of the plate. The fries would even drip with oil when picked up with a fork. I would even feed that to my dog. Disgusting food and disgusting service.

El servicio es de lo mejor, muy atentos y amables. El restaurante está limpio y espacioso, La comida muy rica. Para mi gusto le falta un poco de sal pero eso se arregla sin problema. Gracias

I'm so sad about this place. It was my go to. Times are tough now. I get it. But the carne aade is NOT carne asade. It's shredded beef. It tasted way off from before all the times I've been. All different meals order with carne asada all looked the same with this texture as if shredded beef. Also, order a carne asada quesadilla, barely any cheese and over packed with this meat (whatever it is). Bummed about this place. I won't be going back..

I ordered two molcajetes (Mar and tierra) they gave me a small amount of frijoles and rice. Also the price on their website is different from the one inside.
